((Gladly))

Most of the pets seemed excited at the hope of an owner, but one hung back, staring at the two new comers, but making no move to come forward from their little corner. Black curls would occasionally drift into his eyes, the tiny ears on his head twitching every now and then. The tiny, woolen tail didn't move, not showing any sort of excitment. This little lamb distrusted everyone that came in.

The little fox saw him, and his heart fluttered. He slowly, non-threateningly approached the sheep. He knelt down by him, his tail swishing cutely. He obviously meant the boy no harm.
"Hello... My name's Tyler... What's yours?" he asked softly, a sweet smile on his lips.

The black haired boy backed away a little, still looking up at him with big eyes. He paused at the question, answering slowly. "Colton." he said, wondering what the other wanted with him. He'd all but given up on the hope of getting adopted.

"It's nice to meet you, Colton. You're very cute... Would you like to come live with my boyfriend and I?" he asked, reaching out a hand as nonthreateningly as he could, for the boy to take if he so chose.

Colton blinked at that, his eyes filling with hope. They quickly dimmed again, wariness setting in. "What's the catch?" he murmured, not sure if he wanted the other to hear. What could they want a pet for?

"You have to be a good boy, and listen?" he said confusedly, tilting his head.

Not what Colton had meant, but then again, if they were bad masters, there was nothing he could do if they wanted him. He might as well. "Alright." he said finally, taking the other's hand.

The boy helped him up... Then gave him a soft hug.
"We'll make sure you're happy." he said, smiling.

Colton was a bit startled, not sure how to respond. They were going to make sure he was happy? That seemed to bode... well. He nodded slowly, waiting for a cue of some kind as to what to do.

He smiled, and rought the boy over to his boyfriend, giggling happily.
