Akira calmed down a bit when he heard Josh. He always had a calming effect on him. Through the days Lady were with them he learnt how to pick her up, pet or play with her. So now he took her and hugged tightly, what the white cat didn't mind at all. If anything her purring got even louder. Akira was still a bit shaken up but as the cat was inside his arms his panic passed away.

The moment Lady was in Akira's arms, Josh stood up, heading back to their room and keeping rather quiet. There was still that anger in him, although he was hiding it well, at least for the time being. Once he had gotten to the room, he opened the door, closing it behind him and locking it.
"I'll keep it locked, she won't get out that way." Josh assured, putting Akira on the bed and smiling lightly. "I think you should spend time with her while I go talk to my aunt. I don't want you there when she, or I am yelling at one another." Josh said honestly, knowing all too well that would happen. |
Akira looked at Josh and nodded his head. No. He didn't want to be near people screaming at each other. It seemed Lady was quite tired and she was about to fell asleep in the young male's arms. He just simply nuzzled his cheek into her fur.
|
"Okay.." Josh took a deep breath, kissing Akira's lips softly and then giving Lady a soft kiss atop of her head. "I'll come back soon. I'll leave the door locked so only I have the key. No one will come in." Josh assured as he walked over towards the door, grabbing the key on the dresser nearby, and heading out.
Going to Christine's room right away, it wasn't long before he was knocking on the door, only to walk in uninvited and see his aunt cleaning up the mess that had been made by Lady, which actually wasn't as bad as he thought. "Can you explain to me, how the fuck you think it's okay to go to my bedroom unannounced and speak to my boyfriend that way?" Josh spoke loudly as he closed the door behind him. Christine turned, seeing Josh and glaring instantly while holding up one of her torn dresses. "Did you see what she did? That cat shouldn't be in this place, it's meant for humans, not animals." "This is my home, I decide who I invite in, and who I kick out. She is a part of this family now wether you like it or not. And don't you ever, EVER speak to Akira like that again." Josh's voice was louder now, something he hadn't done in a long time, especially with Akira nearby. His anger was clearly showing on his face, as well as his voice. Turning to look back at Josh, Christine furrowed her brow and spoke with a hiss to her tone. "Don't speak to me like that. You're my nephew, show me some respect." "You're ignoring my points." Josh said back, his voice nearly the same although he did lower it slightly. "Don't you dare think of throwing Lady out. And do not speak to him like that. Understand?" Josh said, his breathing getting heavier as his heart loudly beat in his chest, his adrenaline pumping. Christine was about to say something but she stopped, parting her lips and giving a hard look at Josh before nodding her head. "Understood Master." She said with spite in her voice. Josh stormed back to the door, stopping halfway there and smiling, clearly not one of amusement, more of irritation. "I don't want you around him until dinner, he's probably terrified of you now. So good job scaring someone who's now part of our lives. So, stay away from us for a few hours why don't you, do us a favour for once in your life." Josh left, slamming the door and ignoring anything Christine was trying to tell him. He didn't give a shit, in fact he wanted to head back to the man he loved and ensure he was okay. It had taken a few minutes altogether, but Josh got back to his room, unlocking it with the key and stepping inside, making sure to lock it once more behind him. "Akira…you okay?" Josh asked, his voice low and soft, almost feeling as though all that yelling and anger had tired him out slightly. |
In the time Josh was gone Akira was just enjoying that the cat was close tp him and safe. He muttered some things under his breath while his eyes closed. It was a strange feeling since his emotions were at the same time chaotic and calm. His body was cold and trembled. But it was way more calm than before. Even his breath calmed down as well as his mind. Though as the doors opened he almost rolled up into a ball.. until he heard Josh's voice. He the turned his head and looked at his boyfriend.
"Is everything fine?", he asked simply, although it was clear he was reallt stressed out. |
Heading over towards the bed, Josh went to sit beside Akira and Lady, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend and taking a deep breath before nodding his head. "Everything is fine now. She won't kick Lady out I promise you. She'll be okay." Josh said in a soft whisper, his eyes fixating back on the white cat as he gently stroked her fur.
"How about you. Are you doing okay?" Josh's eyes lifted, looking up at Akira to see how he was doing. Comparing to before, he seemed a little better, although he couldn't completely tell just yet. |
Akira sighed as the warm arms were wrapped around him. He nodded at the question although he was still trembling a little. There was also that knowledge it was all his fault. The whole situation.
"I-I'm sorry..", he whispered. |
Furrowing his eyebrows when he heard Akira apologize, Josh shook his head, placing a finger beneath Akira's chin and lifting his head so he could look into his eyes. "Hey…why are you saying sorry? You didn't do anything wrong Akira." Josh sad beneath his breath, realizing he felt guilt for what had happened. Of course Christine probably made him feel as though he was responsible, but it wasn't true. It was completely opposite. If the woman wanted her room to be kept safe she should have locked her damn door. She was lucky only a cat got in and not someone else.
|
"I.. I should watch what Lady is doing.. and keep her in the room.. a-and... now Master's aunt is angry.. and she..", answered Akira, as always not really able to escape those maroon eyes.
|
"Akira." Josh said softly, taking a hold of his boyfriends hand and looking at him, speaking to him in a gentle voice. "What happened wasn't your fault, despite allowing Lady out of our site, that doesn't mean whatever happened is because of us." Josh pursed his lips, thinking to himself for a moment before nodding and looking back into Akira's eyes.
"Lady has her own mind, you had no control over her actions. And what she did…well, it's what cats do, they're animals and you can't blame them for something natural. So, it's no ones fault really, no one should get in trouble for this." Josh said with a soft smirk, the action a little hesitant. |
