Akira liked silence so it actually didn't bother him. The thing that bothered him was the idea of doing something wrong.. as well as staying alone with someone he didn't know. The stressful ideas were stopped by the gentle kiss he received. Stunning... Was he really? But he promised to fight those bad thoughts off so now he did it as well. Touching his braided hair he smiled.
"Thank you", he said shyly, as always really quiet. |
Josh wrapped his arms back around Akira, taking a deep breath before whispering. "You're welcome."
He allowed the silence to prolong, not saying anything for a moment as they sat in the newly made room, his eyes settling on the flowers and butterflies that flew onto the windowsill to drink the nectar that was put out for them. Josh then glanced back at the pots that were empty, looking forward to putting a flower in there and seeing it bloom, curious as to what one he'd choose to plant. "How about tomorrow morning we plant ourselves our own flowers hm?" Josh then muttered softly as he looked back at Akira, curious if he'd like to do that at all. |
Akira looked around their new room once again and couldn't stop smiling. The place he could draw, all drawing untensils and all the other things. It was really amazing. When he saw some butterfly finding it's way inside it made him focus entirely on it. Because of how silent it was he rised his hand to write his answer only to realise that he didn't need to do that anymore.
"That would be nice. What kind of flowers?", he asked, really excited all of a sudden. "There is so many we can pick." Akira would love to choose a daisy, just like the one he was given the first time but.. maybe Josh wanted something else? Akira didn't know how to be selfish. |
Thinking about it for a moment, Josh hummed in thought, biting his bottom lip as his mind went through all the different types of flowers they could possibly plant.
"So many options…" he muttered. After a minute passed, Josh then perked up and spoke with a big smile on his face. "I'd probably plant a lily. They're one of my favourites, although you can choose whatever you'd like." Josh smiled, knowing all too well what that would be. "We have seeds for sunflowers, daffodils….daisies."he hinted while looking at Akira. "I think a daisy would be perfect for you, wouldn't you agree?" |
Akira was about to say it would be good to plant a lily but before he was able to Josh continued talking. Looking at his hands he nodded his head.
"I.. would like a daisy.. i-if that is not a problem.. I m-mean.. uh..", he paused, getting really nervous since he still wasn't quite used to saying things likes that aloud and so clearly. "I-I'm sorry.." |
Josh smiled vaguely when Akira began to stumble over his words, only to apologize for it in the end. With a soft breath, Josh put a hand to his boyfriends chin and lifted his head just slightly, leaning forward to brush his lips up against Akira's before speaking back softly.
"There is no need to be sorry. A daisy would be completely fine. We will watch it every day and see it bud and grow. Hopefully I'll keep mine alive, I'm not the best with plants." Josh admitted, knowing Akira would probably water his plant if he ever forgot. "And we'll be careful with Lady when she's around them." |
Akira calmed down and smiled happily when he heard that a daisy was fine.
"I am sure..", he paused, stopping himself before he called Josh a master. ".. you would be able to grow it into a beautiful flower. And if you would be to busy I would take care if it.. But.. letting Lady in here.. she would hunt the butterflies.." There were few times he saw her doing that to other bugs.. so butterflies wouldn't be any different. Or so thought Akira. |
Admiring the beautiful smile on Akira's face, Josh smiled in return before nodding his head briskly. "I would appreciate that, it'll grow beautifully all thanks to you. And that is true…" Josh thought, knowing if Lady came inside she might try a little hard to catch the butterflies, probably a little too much.
"To be safe, she can stay in our rooms, there is a lock on this door so when you aren't in it you can lock it. Hopefully she isn't smart enough to get inside then." Josh merely chuckled, a part of him actually wondering if she could. She was quite the stealthy little cat after all. "Either way, it would be best. We don't want the butterflies being harmed." |
Akira nodded his head. That surely was true. The cat couldn't be here. With the smartness mentioned he chuckled as well. That would be really something if she would be able to open the doors.
"Mhm.. Maybe it would be alright to let her in if no buttrflies would be here? I'm not sure... I..", he was about to say something really personal but paused since he didn't feel a bit strange with something so forward. |
It was nice to hear Akira stating his opinion, even though he cut himself off Josh appreciated hearing the man voicing his thoughts.
"That sounds like a great idea." Josh mumbled as he brushed his lips along the side of Akira's head. "I think Lady would appreciate being able to come in once in a while. Maybe when you're in here with her, and the butterflies are safely outside, as you said." Josh thought aloud while letting out a soft breath and smirking. "That way both her and the butterflies are happy." |
