John, seeing Gary's face, thought about where he could lost his keys. At taxi? Ealier? Maybe left them in his car? Then he saw actually taking them out.
"Dork", he said with a small smile, taking the keys with one hand and with other reaching to Gary's forehead and flickering it with his index finger.
He opened the doors and took the man inside and onto his bed, making sure he wouldn't hurt himself on the way there.

"Dork...rhymes with stork..." Gary half mumbled half sang as he was led inside. He had the presence of mind to remove his shoes and socks near the shoe cabinet, holding onto John's shoulder for support to keep his balance. He made a mental note to clean his shoes in the morning, as he wore some comfortable house slippers and went into the bedroom.

"My wallet...take the cab fare..." he tried to sound coherent as he held out his cream and caramel wallet out with unsteady hands.

"It's all good. Just lay down and sleep you drankard", said John, taking the wallet and putting it on the nearby chair with the car keys. "Come on. Let me see you going to bed so I can go home too."

(Will John try to plant one on him now as we agreed?)

"Hang...on..."

Gary shuffled on unsteady feet to the bathroom and emerged a while later, dressed in an old sleeveless yellow tee and baggy old shorts. He waved around the room to an invisible audience, and then to John.

"Good...night...everybody...nighty night..."

He moved towards the bed with a cute sleepy smile and lay down, his hair mussed up.

John observed it all, quite amused actually. He was a bit tipsy but it was all. Though it was good thing actually because he was able to take care of Gary. As he watched how he laid down he rolled his eyes and walked to him, covering him up so he wouldn't catch a cold sleeping like that.

Gary smiled up at him sleepily, handsome and cute as always, and then clutched the top of the blanket.

"Go...home...safe...and sound..."

He looked for few seconds on Gary and then.. before he could think about what he was doing.. he just approached him and gave him a bit longer kiss on the lips. Though he didin't push inside his tongue it was a bit.. intense.

Gary was way too drunk and sleepy to let the full implication of what was happening sink in. He just smiled against John's lips, which tasted of sweet alcohol and pizza, and sleepily kissed back.

"Night, buddy," he mumbled happily, and then was out like a light.

John's eyes grew wide when he realized what he was doing. Oh damn.. what the.. but then Gary kissed back.. and happlily drifted of. Shaking his head he took Gary's keys to the house and went out, closing the door and pushing the keys inside through the mail chink. With that done he took a cab and went home. In about thirty minutes he was home, laying in his bed. Falling asleep he just wished Gary wouldn't remember what he had done. After all.. it was only an accident.

The next morning, Gary's eyes fluttered open. He groaned as he was struck by a hangover, however due to his usually good tolerance for alcohol, he knew exactly how to handle it.

He didn't remember much of last night, just remembered fooling around with his keys and then John escorting him indoors...He must have tucked him in as Gary had awoken in bed.

He reached for his cellphone and texted John. "Hey. Mild hangover, can't remember much of last night. Did you take the cab fare and reach home safely? Still got my car keys?"
