Alexen did know wether to be happy or upset about Shiro's comment. He didn't understand why he cared so much he never felt like this before. He just looked away.

"In this place... sometimes happens weird things. It's because of the magic field. But don't worry. It won't harm you..", he said, smiling softly.

He looked back at Shiro "What do you mean wierd things? he asked slightly puzzled.

The elf actually chuckled at the question and shook his head while running his hand through the blonde hair.
"Well.. like moving objects.. sometimes creatures of the forest shows themself.. Some of them like to talk but not every one know how to speak in world's that we can understand."
It was clear that talking about it made the elf happy.

Alexen could see how excited Shiro got as he spoke. "So how many of those languages can you speak it must be amazing to live in this place." he said

"There is a lot of kinds of communication and I am still learning. It was one of the reasons why I chose this place for my home. For a scholar like me it is perfect", he said excitetdly.

"Its wonderful you have a home that makes you happy...........I live in a small cramped apartment in the slums." his smile turned into a frown as he spoke. "Probably karma catching up to me." he said looking at the floor.

"Why karma?", he inquired, looking at the slumped arms of the other male.

"For all the lives iv taken when I was a knight.". He said. He didn't want to look at Shiro, he didn't want to see how Shiro would look at him. "I'm cursed to a life of misery." he stared out the window.

Shiro was surprised when he heard the other male. Then he smiled and walked closer only to put his hand on his back to get his attention.
"We can always change our ways. The man you were yesterday.. doesn't need to be the same one today... or tomorrow...", he said calmly. "If you don't like the man you were.. then do something about it and stop searching for excuses.."
