Tim smiles at Kobi, then says, "Play nice." And he lets Elliott in. "And you were right about the ring." He says to Elliott.
Seeing his older brother coming into the room. He quickly rose to his feet and looked shocked. "B-Brother? Wha-what are you doing here?" he asked, completely stunned. Elliott came in and stepped closer to his younger brother. "You should be grateful to me. I helped your lover pick out that ring. It was not easy finding a ring that looked like our great grandfather's." he said, sounding a bit cold. "I-I'm sorry. T-Thank you for he-helping T-Tim." he said with a smile on his face. Sounding a bit nervous. "S-so, what brings you here, brother?"
Tim frowns a bit and puts a hand on Elliott's shoulder, urging him to sit on a chair behind him, "Sit down and calm down." He says, "You're not going to get far sounding like that." He adds, then pats his shoulder, "Just forget about work." He sits across the table and eats breakfast, "You can relax too, Kobi. He does anything we don't like and I'll kick him out."
Since he was a bit taller then Tim, he looks down as he leads him to sit down. Taking a deep breath to calm himself. For he was right. Seeing the frighten look on his face. That's not why he was here. He wanted to gain a brotherly bond. "You're right. Please forgive my rudeness." he said calmly. Kobi listen to his lover as he tells him that he would kick him out if he goes to far. "I-it's alright. I'm just a bit shock that's all." he said with a smile on his face. Then le turned his eyes to his brother. "So why are you here again? Not that you are a bother or anything. I just thought...you hated me."
Elliott sighs and looks back his his younger brother. "Kobi, I know that over the years. I was not the perfect brother to you. I understand why you think I hate you, but the fact is...I...I...I..." he rambled. It seemed that he was having a hard time telling him how he really feels. |
Tim smiles a little, "We have all day. Don't push yourself." Tim says, drinking some coffee. He was keeping check on their body language and their expressions, making sure there won't be any kind of fight.
Kobi smiled and reached out for him. "He's right. It's just nice to see you again." he said. Sounding like he was getting used to him being around again. He asked how he was and how his business was doing. the older brother slightly smirk and talks. There were a couple of times where he made it sound like he was better then Kobi. But it seemed like the younger one didn't mind it so much.
Tim figured Elliott couldn't help making snide remarks towards his lover, but he continued listening, still sipping on his coffee.
After awhile. Both became quiet and just stared at one another. Having no idea what to do or say to one another.
Tim smiles a little, "Not to be all soft or anything, but you haven't hugged him." He says, cleaning up the table.
Both their faces turned red when Tim said that. Both couldn't even remember the last time they even hugged. "Um...I'm willing to give it a try." said Kobi with a small smile on hos face. Standing up from his seat. "Do-do you want to give it a try?" he asked timidly. Elliott gets up from his seat and walked up to him. It looked like they were going to hug, but then he stuck out his hand. The younger brother look a little disappointed, but smiled anyway and shook it.
Tim sighed, "You're walking him down the isle, you might as well hug him now." He says, drinking his coffee.
"He is?" "I am?" they both said at the same time. Then they looked at each other. Both had no idea what to say for a moment. Then Kobi really smiled. "Would you really walk me down the isle. That's would mean so much to me." he said. Looking him in the eyes with his sparkling pleading eyes. Elliott somehow couldn't resist the eyes. He sighed and smiled, a true smile. "Alight. I will." he said. Earning a sequel from his brother. Who wrapped his arms around him. Making the older one tense up. Looking at Tim. As to hear what he was suppose to do at this moment.
Tim chuckled, and made a motion telling Elliott to hug back. He watches as they hug and he feels even more successful that he got these two together again. Then he catches himself staring at Kobi, happy that he was happy.
He first he was unsure. But then he wrapped his arms around his brother and pulled him closer to him. Feeling his warmth. Kobi smiled happily. Feeling like they were closer then they were ever before. "Kobi...I know that I've been a bastard towards you for many years. When I should of been there for you. I want to make things right. I'm sorry that i made you think I hate you, but the truth is. I really care about you. So I hope you can forgive me and...you know...try to be brothers." he said in a kind and gentle voice. Like you expect from a loving brother.
Tears roll down the younger brother's face and sniffled. Making the older one think that he made him cry in a bad way. "Wait! Don't cry! Please don't." he begged panicky. Then Looks at Tim once more for help. |
Tim smiles and whispers, "Pet his hair and rub his back." then nods and gives two thumbs up, like saying he's doing a good job.
He nods his head and looks down at his crying brother. He took a deep breath and did what Tim told him to do. He rubbed his back and pet his hair. "Um....there, there. Everything...is okay." he said in a gentle tone. He felt and heard him calming down and looks up at him with his red puffy eyes. "I-I'm sorry. I...I am so happy that you don't hate me. With this and Tim wanting to merry me. For the first time in my life, I feel like life is finally getting better for me." he said happily. Then he looks at his lover and smiled big. "Tim. I love you so much. Thank you for helping me and my brother getting together." he said.
That's when Elliott looks at Tim as well and cleared his throat. "I have to admit. This popularly wouldn't had happen if you didn't come in and bought the ring." he said. "But-" his tone change to a firm and serious tone. "If you do anything that would hurt my brother. I am going to punch you in the face, where you stand." he warns him. In a matter of seconds. He was now acting like an over protected brother. |
Tim gives a shocked look, then smiles and says, "I'm glad to hear you say that. I will never do anything that will hurt Kobi." He says, "You have my word on it, brother-in-law." He says, smirking a little.
"Good. Because I'm gonna be a big brother now and I don't want to see Kobi get hurt again." he said. Making the younger one laugh and push away from him. "That is really sweet, but I am an adult I can watch out for myself." he said. Making him roll his eyes. "Please. Like I can trust you to be alone. You can't go an hour without hurting yourself in some short of way. Like when you got those three sewing needles stuck in your thumb." he said. Kobi's cheeks turned red and looks at both the people he cared for. "So, what shall we do?" he asked Wanting to change the subject.
Tim chuckles, "Well, if he wants, Elliott can help us plan the wedding." He says, putting his empty coffee cup down.
"I'll be happy to." he said. As he sat back down. Kobi nodded his head and took s seat as well. "First thing we should think of is a date for the wedding. Do you guys have any idea when you want to get married?" Elliott asked the two of them. "We-well. We would need time so maybe in a couple of months." Kobi said. Then turns to Tim. "But Tim made the first move, so he should decide." he said with a smile on his face.
Tim chuckles softly, "Actually, I only planned out proposing, I hadn't thought of the rest." He admits, blushing a little, "What season do you like best?" He asks, smiling.
"Well most people try to get marry in June. For they believe that that's the perfect time to get marry. But it hard to book it since everybody want to get hitch by then. But personally I think that any season can be best. It's how you plan it." The older brother said to the two of them. "What season do you two like?" he asked. "Well, I like summer." Kobi said. Looking at Tim to hear his answer.
Tim nods, "Summer is a good season." He says, smiling at Kobi.
"Okay. Summer is around mid June to early September. Before it gets cold and turns into fall." The older brother said. Writing all of this down in a small notepad he carries around.
Tim chuckles, "You're so professional." He says, then thinks, "But, after the marriage, we would have our honeymoon. Would you still want it before it gets cold?
He chuckled. "I worked part time with a wedding planner." he tells him. Elliott took a moment to think. Trying to think when the best time to have their wedding and go on the honeymoon while it was still warm. "Well then. It all depends how long you want your honeymoon would be." he said. Kobi had a little worried look on his face. "Shouldn't we talk about a budget?" he asked. His brother smiled and placed a caring hand on his. "Of course, but it's better to figure out a date. Now I was thinking somewhere around mid July to early August. If you want a summer wedding and warmth for the honey moon."
Tim smiles a little when Kobi mentions the budget. He doesn't say anything, and just smiles away, then nods, "That sounds wonderful. What do you think, Kobi?" He asks, "Where would you want to go, anyway?"
When his question was ignored and was asked where he would like to go. He took a moment to think as to where he wanted to go for a honeymoon. Then a smile appeared on his face. "Well. I was thinking New York." he said. Thinking that would be a fun place to go.
Tim chuckles, "That sounds great." He says, "For how long? A couple of days?" He asks, smiling.
Kobi nodded his head. "Just enough to see a couple of shows on Broadway and go to some of the clubs. That sounds like a fun honeymoon. But it's also yours. So If you want to go somewhere else. That would be fine." he said with a smile on his face.
Tim laughs, "No way, if you want to go to New York, then we'll go to New York." He says, "As long as you plan out which clubs and which plays." He chuckles out. Then he looks at Elliott, "So we've got the ideal month..."
"You want it in July?" he asked. Kobi looks at Tim to see if he want it in July.
Tim shrugs and nods, "Sounds like a good month." He says, then thinks, "Probably not the fourth, there'd be a lot of fireworks... unless you want fireworks. " He says, looking at Kobi. "I mean, I can get pyrotechnics on our day if you want them but not on that date." He says, shrugging.
"I-I just want a simple wedding." Kobi said two the two of them. Elliott looks at his little brother and wrote everything down.
Tim smiles and says, "You are in control of the wedding. Anything you want, i'll buy it for the wedding. " He says, smiling happily.
"But it's your wedding to. I want you take part of the planning as much as I am." Kobi said and smiles. "So if there's anything you want tell me. All that I ask is for a simple wedding." he said.
Tim frowns, "but will you remember a simple wedding later in your life?" He asks, looking worried. He wanted it to be something Kobi would be able to remember...
Kobi happily nodded his head. "Of course I will. You know that my memories is getting better after all the rehab. I'm just a simple fella with simple taste." he said to him. Getting from his seat and goes up to him. Planting a kiss on his cheek. "We can throw a few thing in, but I don't like the idea of a very spendy wedding." he told him and nuzzled his cheek against him.
Tim chuckles softly, "You don't have to worry about the price, Kobi, i got it all handled." He says, kissing Kobi, then blushing when he remembered Elliott was still there. "s-sorry..." He says, not sure of Elliott's reaction.
He had a pretty emotionless expression on his face. "You two our lovers and my brother always affective to those he care for. Kind like a puppy. Is no big deal to me. Just if you are going to do it. Please, do it behind doors." he said. Making his little brother blush. "Br-brother! Don't say things like that. Do you always talk like that to your lover?" he asked. Now making him blush. "I don't have one. I am far to busy for something trivial." he said looking quite serious. Then he glared his throat. "Anyway. Let's get back to the topic. Is there a certain theme you want for the wedding. Other then being boring." he said. Looking right at his brother when he called his simple wedding boring.
