Simon set the bottle down and drank from his glass slowly before noticing the neko was already tipsy from a single drink and was smiling. He figured the kid never drank before, but he didn't think he was a light weight.

"I want to drink too..", he pouted, seeing his glass was still empty when Simon started to drink from his.

Simon levitated the bottle and had it pour wine into Naoki's glass. "Sorry, I thought there was still some in there." he apologized before lowering the bottle as he drank from his glass again. "Itzel? Would you like some?"

The owl was busy pecking the feathers on his wing when Simon offered him some wine and he let out an inhuman screech as he flapped his thick wings to travel to Simon's shoulder where he rooster himself. He bent his head when Simon held the glass closer to him and buried his head in it, bringing his tongue out from his curved, pointed beak to lick up some of the wine.

Naoki actually flinched when the owl screeched and then observed it taking a 'sip'.
"He actually left some marks on my arm..", he sighed, remembering about it while taking few gulps of his own wine. "And.. he seems quite intelligent, doesn't he?"

"He is a very intelligent creature. If only he could speak, I'm sure he would." Simon replied.

"Oh.. Was he like that from the start?", he asked, observing the owl.

"He has. He was very smart as a hatchling and has always been a very intelligent creature." Simon replied softly as he scratched under Itzel's beak gently.

"So.. he knew he would hurt me, sitting on my arm.. How mean", sighed the neko boy, looking at the owl with small pout.

Itzel lowered to the table and he looked at Naoki before pecking at his feathers again. Simon chuckled softly and he sipped at his wine. "His feathers are about to fall out. They'll fall off and new ones will grow in their place."

"You should go bald for hurting others", he muttered and then looked at Simon, tilting his head while taking few sips of his wine. "Isn't it lonely to life by yourself in the woods? How long are you living here?"
