"be quiet guy jaspers still asleep" i said as me and shrine finish putting the rolls on the pans to bake and we where, dad brought Luca back in the kitchen in a sleeper "thank you grandpa" he said "were did you find that old thing dad" i asked as he pointed to the bed room "found it in the old box from the time we had you in diapers" he said "ah ok they can use that now" i said as we waited for the rolls to finished

Shrine frowned. He ran into the bedroom and climbed into the bed with Jasper. He thought something was wrong with his mother because he usually got up before mostly everyone else. Tears fell down his face.
"Momma?" he asked.

Jasper opened his eyes and saw Shrine crying.
"Oh, baby. What wrong?" he asked, sitting up.

Shrine just hugged him tightly and cried into his shoulder.

Jasper carried him into the kitchen and looked around.
"Why is he crying? Do any of you know?" he asked worriedly.

"no, not a clue" i said as i pulled the finished rolls out "but he did help me with these" i said

Jasper rocked Shrine and hushed him soothingly.
"Shhh. What's wrong, my love?" he asked softly.

Shrine looked up at Jasper.
"Momma sick?" he asked, sniffling.

Jasper looked at Chase and Luca.
"Did own of you tell him I was sick?" he asked.

"no told everyone to keep it down so you could sleep in late" i said "hes not sick buddy, he was just tired ok" i said as i went over to them

"Momma not sick?" Shrine asked just to make sure.

Jasper smiled and nodded.
"No, baby. I'm fine, just sleepy. Do you want to sleep in with me?" he aske, not caring if Shrine would kick him again.

"Only if Luca does too." Shrine decided.

"nope today is the last day mom and dad are here and so i planned to go to a water park for the kids and besides who's gonna help us eat all these cinnamon rolls" i said as Luca's ears perked and his tummy growled out loud and we laughed

Jasper smiled and set Shrine down before eating.

Shrine ate hungrily before tugging on Chase's pant leg.
"Daddy! Daddy!"

"whats up my little one" i asked

Shrine smiled.
"All done, Daddy!" he said happily.

Jasper chuckled and kissed Chase's cheek.
"You get him dressed, I'll take care of Luca."
