Light smiled silently as he stepped out of the restaurant and called for a taxi, still cradling the thin body.

L looks up at Light resting head calmly slurping his words too.

"Ryuzaki," Light sighed and laughed, "you're hilarious when drunk, and you can't hold your alcohol."

"Excuuuuuuuuuuusse me?! You don't know me! I'm Ryuzaki, world-renowned detective who takes on the challenge of catching the serial killer, Kira and I can hold my liquor than you any day!" L drunkly said patting his chest.

Light chuckled and tilted his head to one side. "Oh realllly? Then let's see you sit upright without swaying or falling over, for at least 30 seconds!"

He carried L inside the taxi.

"Fine.... when we get to your house... I'll show you then!"

"Hmmmm" Light murmured, his face pressed close against the detective's as the taxi rolled off the kerb. "You want to go back to my place then?" A naughty chuckle. "Maybe spend some time with my sister?"

"Why you asked that? You're not *Hic* man enough to this detective to your sister?" L asked trying to poke the boy's cheek and just falls onto Light's lap groaning lowly.

Light calmly pulled the detective upright. "You know, my sister will be verrrrry amused at how someone like you can't hold his liquor." Without another word he pulled the drunken detective onto his lap, to keep him steady.

They soon reached Light's house. As he'd already known, it was empty. His father was off duty and likely to be at either headquarters or elsewhere. His sister had gone with her friends on a weekend trip. His mother had flown out of town for the weekend to meet her parents.

Again, L just started a rant about Light on how youth today aren't not so smart, they get into trouble for stupid stuff and etc and etc leaning on the boy a bit.

After the taxi went into a stop arriving at Light's house, they both paid the man and gets out carrying this drunken man up to the front door.
