Rick was stunned a bit with vision of him in something so ridiculous.
"You know.. you're really lucky you are stronger and faster than me", he said, glaring at the vampire. "And you didn't answer my ealier questions."

"It is my spit. My blood too, but mixing blood with a vampire is just asking to becoming one. It's a nicer way of turning people than draining them on their blood and replacing it with ours, but it's still painful." Vincent answered.

"But then... why I didn't turn? You drank my blood and done the same to yours? Few times actually?", asked Rick, looking questioningly at other male.

"Hm...I don't know." Vincent said softly as he took one of Rick's hands to just hold it and he looked down as he ran his thumb back and forth over Rick's skin. "To be honest, I never turned someone before. I heard a rumor that vampires can have a sort of influence over the changing process, like they get to choose if they want to turn someone or not. I don't think that's true, though."

'It must be true", said Rick, not really minding that his hand was grabbed and being held in other's. "That is probably a reason why I didn't change. You don't want me to."

Vincent pulled Rick's hand toward his face and nuzzled against Rick's wrist over his veins. "Maybe one day...you will ask me to turn you, and I will consider it. But, for now...you and I have a long way to go before we get to that point."

Rick blue eyes observed the other male as he nuzzled against his wrist. It was like observing some act he didn't quite understand yet. But having those sharp fangs so close to his blood made Rick smile.
"Once again you sound like you are my.. partner. Let me remind you that just writing on me and giving me all those piercings doesn't make me automatically yours", he said, not showing any feelings on his face for the time being.

Vincent stared at Rick for a few moments after hearing that and he kept Rick's wrist against his lips, then he lowered Rick's hand slowly, but kept it in his grip. "Then, what is it going to take to make you trust me with those type of feelings?" he asked softly. He figured Rick wasn't going to tell him, but he had an idea in mind that might work on someone like Rick who obviously had a fucked up upbringing.

"Figure that one by yourself", said Rick simply, wondering what other male could be thinking about.
He just was sitting there and observed Vincent. His intriguing red, wild eyes and those while bangs of his. Not feeling like stopping himself he reached up and touched them with a tips of his fingers. They were soft.. and somehow brought to mind feathers.

Vincent purred softly and couldn't help himself from nudging gently into Rick's hand. Whatever barrier that Rick had around his heart and emotions needed to be shattered before they could get out of this pattern of just sex and heat. Vincent wanted to get closer, but if he ever wanted to have more mornings like the ones he saw normal couples had, he needed Rick to come out from behind the barrier. He had a plan...therapy was a way that humans could deal with their feelings and emotions just by talking, but Rick wasn't much of a talker. He needed positive reinforcement, perhaps a reward for trusting the vampire. How to go about that, he had no idea.
