John smiled and nodded his head.
"I just hope the rest of the day would be long and uneventful.. Would love to to stay with my cats in home, reading some good book and relax.. or lazying around how would Jane said.."
"What would I say?", asked the woman walking out from the changing room. "We can go. I'm already tired of clothes for the day.. or maybe even a month or two."
"Thank gods for at least that..", muttered John.
"See ya, Gary. Make a move soon ok? John needs that~"
John blushed up to his ears and glared at Jane.
"Sorry for her... See you at work I guess?"

Gary blinked for a few seconds. Make a move? Did Jane mean-

"Uh, yeah, sure...see ya at work. Go home and spend some time with your kittens. I'll probably spend my day checking out that new fast food joint or something," he smiled.

John looked at him surprised.
"There is something new? I'm a big fan of junk food.. I prefer home junk food when I know what's in it but from time to time.."

Gary scratched the back of his head with a smile. "Yeah...I believe there is something like that. Agnes was telling me that-"

"-there's a new place on Apollon street called Flavour Junkies," Agnes completed his sentence as she appeared.

"Whoa," Kotetsu said, forgetting about the fast food restaurant for a second. "That skirt really shows off your legs Agnes, without looking vulgar. I vote for that."

"Why, thank you," Agnes said, proudly tossing her hair. "Let me go throw this in the shopping basket. After we're done billing you're free to go try out that place."

Gary chuckled, watching her leave, and then turned back to John. "So yeah...it's called Flavour Junkies."

"Mhm.. I didn't hear about it", he said with a smile.
John was silent, looking at Gary as if thinking about something.
"Would you like to go together? I hate going by myself and my other friend is on the business trip to the end of the month.. You don't need to.. it's just a proposition.."

Gary at this time was looking over where Agnes was settling the bill near the counter, watching her throw in a new lipstick with the purchases. He turned back to John, a little surprised. Wasn't this the same guy who'd tried to run away last night when Gary had asked if he could come over and see his kittens?

"Sure," he said happily. "Company would be nice when trying out a new burger or taco or something."

John blushed realising what he had just said. It was hard on him as he didn't recognize this outgoing self. How was it possible he changed so much every time Gary was near. It was scary but at the same time really interesting.
"Ok.. So what time and place?", he asked, blushing a little.

Gary chuckled, noticing the blush but not thinking much of it.

"How 'bout in an hour or so? I need to get home and freshen up a bit. Shopping with Agnes is no mean feat, my friend."

"You'll pay for that," Agnes said, tweaking his ear as she turned up next to him.

"Ow! Mean lady!"

"Yeah yeah. Ok, so I'm going home now. Gonna try on the skirt with the new lipstick. See ya, Gary. And bye, John."

She smiled at them and then disappeared.

"Ok. So before my flat? In hour from now?", he asked, waving Agnes goodbye as he chuckled at her reaction.
His heart skipped a beat when he thought about with who he was going on his favourite junk food.. Somehow it made him really happy.

"Be ready in an hour then. I'll come by to pick you up." Gary laughed as he turned to leave. "And say hi to your kittens from me!"

He walked out into the parking lot and got into his car. John was proving to be a nice guy.
