Jason drank some water and put the glass on the counter. With a deep, calming sigh he went of the kitchen and went to where Cain was sitting.
"I'm okay", he mumbled, his cheeks slightly flushed now. |
Cain looked over at him with a concerned look. "You sure? You're looking kind of hot in the face. You feeling sick or something?"

Jason shook his head while touching his cheeks when Cain said that. Were his cheeks so flushed? Walking closer he sighed. Did his skin needed to react so easily on the changes in his mood?
"N-no.. Not really", he said quietly, sitting down and then he tried to change the subject. "So where are those new ideas?" |
Cain offered the sketchbook over to him. "They're all in there. Some of them aren't finished or colored because I drew them late at night. I have a bad habit of working even when I'm tired."

In silence Jason slowly looked at every one of the tattoo designs. In half of it he stopped, looking at the yin-yang sign covered in..
"Is that blood?", he asked quietly, touching the drawing lightly with the tip of his pale finger. "And the white one has cracks on it.. I really like that one.." |
Cain leaned over close to him and looked at the drawing with him. "You like it? I got the idea from a painting I saw at a Japanese restaurant. I went a little heavy with the dark red, but I think it turned out nicely...the way I wanted it to. I wanted it to look like the dark was overpowering the light. Originally, I was going to do the koi fish, but I figured just the signs were enough." Cain looked at him. "Do you like it a lot, Jase?"

"Yes. I like it a lot.. though the way I thought about it was.. a bit different. But I really like it", he said quietly.

Cain stared at him for a little while. "Would you let me put that on you?"

Jason stayed for few moments still and then just nodded softly. That would be a good tattoo to have.
"But you still need to think one only for me", he said with a soft smirk. "There's no escape for you out of it if you really want to be with me." |
Cain chuckled and kissed his cheek. "I will, baby. I will. I promise."
