Envy tilted his head, watching Edward carefully. He frowned a little and took a few steps back toward the boy, increasing his pace slightly when the runt hurt himself. He sneered a little, wondering just what the hell he was doing, but instead of dwelling on the why of his actions he simply acted.

Envy yanked Ed up onto his feet and fixed the boy's pants for him, which was probably humiliating enough. He couldn't help but add in.. "You humans are such pathetic things really, weak little insects. Still I can't just leave you to get raped by whatever thick headed idiot strolls by. Father would be furious if someone broke you."

Envy grinned, then effortlessly slung Edward over his right shoulder and started walking.

"Where to O Chibi?" He snickered, giving Ed a harsh slap on the ass.

Ed had blushed when Envy had helped him his his pants, there was somthing about the way Envy did it had made Ed smile inspite of himself,
He was surprised by Envy picking him up like a sack of rice....and even more surprised when he recived a sound swat on his backside.

"OW!" Ed yelped but still held tightly to Envy.
"Anywhere but the military HQ, but thats not a problem, I dount they would let you just stroll in caryying me.

Ed winced as he rememberd the Colonel, it was evening now and Mustang was sure to be furiouse that he had left HQ without a body gaurd.

"Roys going to have my hide" he mutterd.

Envy rounded a few corners and noted that they were approaching a more populated area. In a flash of blue and white light he had transformed into a non-descript military officer, though he was still carrying Ed over the shoulder, but was a few inches taller than before.

"Oh? Why's that?"

Ed diddnt know why he was suddenly confiding in a humonculous....and out of all of them Envy, but he was still high from his passion and for him it was like being drunk.

"Oh that tight ass colonel dosnt want me leaving HQ without supervison!" Ed slurred slightly. his head lolling to one side.
"thinks its too dangrouse...said that he would whip me good if I wondered off again....stupid colonel..I can take care of myself...i'm may not be very tall...but I am not a child!" Ed said with a pout.
"You understand friend!"

Envy sweatdropped as he carried Edward all the way back to the military head quarters. he walked right past the startled officers that were working the late shift and didn't stop till he was outside Mustang's office door.

A slow grin spread over his lips.


"You know....I could always take care of your dear flame colonel for you. I could even do it, while being you!" he snickered. Imagining how Roy would react if Ed suddenly attacked him, and being in the good mood he was in, he simply envisioned giving Mustang a little..whipping..of his own, as opposed to a blood bath.

He blinked briefly, wondering when his imagination had taken a turn away from his happy little land of violence.

Ed looked up his face still flushed red
"Really?...you would do that for me?" Ed said sounding greatful as if Envy was offering to buy him lunch.
"Damn that would be swell!" Ed said smiling looking even more chibi than usual.
"That should get that bastard off my ass!" Ed said nodding his head.

Envy couldn't contain his laughter, which sounded rather frightening and less than half sane in the empty hall way. He shifted abruptly, grinning at Edward with the chibi's own face, then patted the other boy on the head like a puppy.


"You go to your room now and get ready for bed. I'll take care of Mustang." He smirked wickedly before turning and throwing open the door to the flame alchemist's office, striding in with a grin only he could wear, which made 'Edward' look like he had been possessed by some crazed demonic force.

Ed smiled and trotted off to his room, feeling giddy.

Roy Mustang had been pacing in his office when the door slammed open and Ed waltzed in looking posses.
"FULLMETAL! WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN!"

Envy couldn't help his smile, Roy Mustang was a beautiful man really. He was going to enjoy himself. He would HAVE to thank Father for giving him this mission later! Really he would.

He adopted a couldn't give a damn stance and smirked lazily at Mustang, offering in a perfect imitation of Ed's voice.

"Catching up on some reading. How about you? That's a lot of paper work on your desk."

Roy was livid! and slammed his fist on the desk, he was tempted to use his flame alchemy to torch that smug look on Eds face right then and there, but he couldnt do that, the Furer would be furiouse! with him.

"Ed you know what I am talking about, I want answere NOW, I told you specificly NOT to leave HQ, that we are in the middle of a WAR here and I told you to stop acting like a spoiled brat and more like military personel!!!" Roy went on in his lecture, his face red with anger.
