"Ok. Will be ready and will give them pat on the head from you", he said and went after Jane to drive her home.

When he was home he had only twenty minutes to get ready. He took a fast shower and put on green t-shirt, dark jeans and a pair of green sneakers. When he got on the place it was already few minutes past the agreeded time. John looked around, searching for Gary.

"Yo, right here." Gary trotted up, smiling brightly and tapping him on the shoulder. "Let's go get ourselves an unhealthy junk food snack."

"Mhm.. Hi. Didn't see you somehow.. Yes, let's go. Is it near?", he asked, curious. "I thought of checking it on the web but didn't have enough time.. needed to drive Jane home, and take a shower, give some food to the devils.."
Once more! He did it once more not even knowing when and.. John sighed. Was it some kind of magic or what? Normally he was really silent type of guy and near Gary he... turned into some....... chatterbox.. at least in comparison to his normal state.

Gary was pleasantly surprised to hear John talking without putting a wall around himself.

"I'll drive us there. Hop in," he led the younger man to his car.

"I checked out the place last night on the internet, and it seems to have fast food from all cuisines. So yeah, we've got variety. And hey, I'm sure the little devils will have a party on your couch."

He pulled his car out of John's driveway and started driving.

"So who's this friend of yours who's on a business trip? If you don't mind my asking."

"I hope they won't have a party on my couch.. It's new so that would be a pity", he sighed, hoping Gary didn't say it in bad moment.
John fell silent when Gary started the engine.
"Ah. We are friends since elementary school. He is now one of CEO's so he tends to be very busy."

"I see." Gary smiled as he continued to drive and then drew up at a traffic signal. "Speaking of our friends, Jane and Agnes never met each other but something tells me they'd get along. I too have friends in the city. Some of them try to fix me up on dates." He laughed.

John sighed heavily.
"Tell me about it.. I'm scared every time I hear date from their mouth.. If this keeps up I grow a phobia... datephobia.. eh... And Jane and Agnes? I'm too scared to even think about it. Just think about it... "

They soon reached the parking lot of the fast food centre. gary started driving around, looking for a space.

"John...dating needn't be such a bad thing, you know. I mean, I know I saw with that jerk, but not all men are that bad..." He gave him a warm smile. "Ah, here's an empty space to park. Anyway, like I said, don't be too sad about it. But then, of course, take things at your own pace."

John smiled a bit, nodding. He knew not all men were bad but at the same time he wasn't lucky enough to meet someone like that. All he met were stupid or just wanted to screw him once and then left. Or maybe there was something wrong with him?
"Maybe", he answered Gary shortly.

"Ok then," Gary parked the car, got out and went round to John's side, opening the door for him. "Come along, monsieur."
