He didn't want to bother Shiro's work because it looked dangerous so he sat down and watched. He wondered what Shiro was doing, he never understood science so watching him work actually was catching his interest.

After few longer moments Shiro stopped the liquid and foam spreading. He sighed when he noticed his burnt fingers. That wouldn't be easy to heal.
"How stupid of me..", he muttered, fed up with himself.

He could smell Shiro's burn "You ok? Would you like me to grab some herbs for your burn?" he asked quickly.

The elf jumped when all of sudden he heard the demon speaking from behind him.
"When did you get here?", he asked surprised and then showed the right place. "Here. There is a cream for burns and behind them are bandages.. Can you help me with it?"

"A few minutes ago, you seemed busy so I didn't want to interrupt you." he got up and got the cream "Alright I'm going to apply it now." he took some cream and gently applied it to the burns and then used the bandages. "How's that?"

Shiro tried to stay still when the burns were being covered with the herbal medicine but he flinched once or twice. That done he smiled at least and looked at the demon.
"Thank you, Alexen", he said softly.

He smiled back "No need to thank me" he said softly "Why don't we go upstairs and I'll make you something to eat"

"Sounds good to me. Let's go", he said and went upstairs.

He still needed to go hunting for meat so he decided to make something quick for Shiro then go hunting. He grabbed a few tomatoes that Shiro brought inside and sliced and choppedthem up, and chopped fresh basil mixed them together and threw some bread in the oven to toast them. After a few minutes he took the toasted bread out and put it on a plate then placed the sliced tomato and basil mix on top. "alright this is just a snack to hold you over till I go catch us dinner."

"Looks great", said Shiro, taking the fork.. only to hiss softly and let it fall back on the plate. "That hurts.."
Sighing he looked at the food. And how am I supposed to eat now? How stupid of me..
