College can be a great place. New friends, better classes, and romance. One romance in particular. Jani and his roommate fell in love with each other once they got to know each other better. Jani was more of a party animal and insomniac type. He goes to his classes during the day and parties at night. One night he was getting ready to head to a party and almost getting into an argument with his boyfriend.

Akihiko is opposite from Jani. He was a shy boy, but he was a kind person. He met him when he was assigned to the same dorm room as him. At first he didn't talk to him, just because he was timid towards Jani, but as time went on, he opened up and one thing lead to another. Soon they were together. But sometimes he didn't feel like that. Since his 'lover' went to parties all the time. They were different classes so they didn't see eachother that often. So the only time he saw him was when he came back, only to get ready to party.

But tonight, he wanted him to stay. "Can you just miss one party, just for tonight?" he asked. Things had been crazy due to finals. So when they were in their room, they were to busy for one another because they were studying. Now they got some time, he wanted to spend a night together. Just the to of them. Also parties were not his thing. Besides, he didn't quite look the part. For his hair was always messy and had thick frame glasses. Wearing wore out jeans and baggy sweaters. Look more like a nerd. "I mean what's so great about this party?"

"Its the biggest one of the entire year. Why don't you come with me? You actually might enjoy them." Jani said. He was dressed in a tight fitting black band shirt, black jeans and black fingerless gloves. His hair was messy looking but that was normal for him. "Why do you want me to miss the party anyways?"

When he said that he should come to the party with him. His cheeks lightly blushed and looked down at his feet. His body was fidgeting out of nervousness. For he doesn't do well in crowds. Jani should know that by now. He did went to a party with him before, but he left only after an hour. Soon he tensed yo as he was asked why he didn't want him to go. "Well...we are finally down with are finals. We...didn't..get to see...each other that much. Now that we have the time...I thought...That maybe...you and I...could-" he muttered under his breath. Not looking up at him.

Akihiko wanted him not to feel like he was clingy, and thinks that what he was asking for was a little selfish. Yet he just wanted to spend the night together. Just them and no one else.

Jani sat on the bed and patted a spot next to him. "I see. You want to spend some time together am I right?" He could sometimes tell what his lover wanted but not all the time. He was glad that finals were finished and wanted to relax, but his idea of relaxing was usually being at a party. Jani flicked his long black hair to the side and smiled. "I guess I can miss this party."

He came over to the bed and sat next to him. His feet were planted to the ground, back straight, and his hands on his lap. He looked very tensed, while still looking down. Pushing his glasses up each time they were slipping off. "Ye-Yeah." he said in a shy voice. He looked up at Jani when he said that he would miss this party. That made him very happy, you could see that in his eyes. "Would you really?" he asked.

Jani nodded. "Yes. I'm sorry that I haven't been spending time with you." He placed a hand on Akihiko's lap and looked into his eyes. "So what do you say we have dinner and then have some fun after?" He asked in a seductive like voice. He saw how happy his boyfriend was and he wanted to make him even happier.

"Oh, no! I understand. I mean we just had our finals. We had to study." he said sounding nervous. But with him, it short of made him cute. Then he looks at his hand on his lap. Making him blush, for it seemed like forever since he touched him. Which he did truly enjoy when he did. Soon he was melting into his eyes. "That sounds like a wonderful idea." he said happily, smiling with joy. "I know it's selfish of me to ask you to spend time with me. But...I just miss you. Silly, I know. Since we share a dorm room together. But we hardly talked since finals starts. You felt close, but so far." he said. Placing his head on his shoulder.

"I know. I'm sorry for going to the parties when you stayed here, wanting to spend time with me. And I'd really like to change that if you let me. I'll try and limit my partying to less so we can spend time with each other. Now as for dinner, hows about we go to that restaurant down the street from us? I hear they have some good food there." Jani said, gently kissing Akihiko on the lips.

He moaned quietly when he placed his lips on his, Lean his head forward to deepen the kiss. Then pulled away. "Well...Maybe we need to balance." he said in a timid voice. "While you try to go to less parties...I'll..try to go to more." he said nervously. For he thought that he would embarrass him for he wasn't really dress like your typical book worm. Which he was. "But I like the idea of going to the restaurant." he said with a small smile on his face.

Jani smiled. "Its a deal. Now then let me change and I'll take you to the restaurant after." He stood up and grabbed some new clothes. He decided to change in front of Akihiko, considering he deserved a little show before dinner.

He smiled and nodded his head. "Take your time." he said and waits on the bed. Seeing that he was undressing in front of him. His cheeks turned red. It's never hard to forget just how good looking he was. It still puzzles him how someone like him wanted to be with a person like himself. "Still have a good body I see." he said trying to sound playful.

Jani chuckles. "Yes and like I always tell you. Its yours only and no one else's." He finished getting dressed and walked up to his boyfriend. "Ready to go...sexy?" He asked extending his hand to Akihiko.

His whole head was red when he called him sexy. "Um...um...um- yeah! I'm ready to go." he said and chuckled nervously. Gripping onto his hand and stood up. Looking him in the face ans smiled happily.

Jani smirked when he saw how embarrassed he made Akihiko. "Ok then lets go then. The sooner we eat the sooner we can have fun." He held onto his lovers hand and lead him to the car.

He simply nodded his head and follows him to his car. Feeling his own heart beating fast. Looking down at their united hands holding one another. He forgot just how big and warm his hands were. "I always did like his hands." he thought to himself.

Jani smiled and opened the car door for Akihiko. "You chariot awaits my dear." He said, helping his boyfriend into the car. Once he was in he closed the door and climbed into the drivers seat. He turned the car on and started to drive to the restaurant, metal music playing softly in the background.

He laughed when he called his car a chariot. "That's so cheesy." he said in a playful tone. Then got into the car. Closing the car door. Waiting for Jani to get in. Then smiled as they drove to the restaurant. He didn't mind the metal music. For he was into anything. Just as long as it was catchy. He was even humming to the song.

Jani chuckled. "Yeah I guess it was. Oh well it made you laugh so thats a good thing babe." He smiled as he placed a hand on his lap while he was driving.

He lightly chuckled. Whenever he was around him. He always felt like he could be around him. For years he had to be something he wasn't. So when he met Jani, he was closed off from him. Now, he was only his true self around him.

"So what do you want to eat? I hear they have good steak there." Jani said, licking his lips at the thought of the food as well as the desert that he'd have after.

"Hm." he mumbled. Taking a moment to think as to what he was hungry. Steak did sound good to, but he wanted something else. "Um...I think...I'll go with...with ribs." he said with a small smile on his face. For beef ribs were his favorite kind of meat. There wasn't a day that it wasn't on his mind. Other then Jani of course.

Jani laughed. "Ok you can have the ribs and I'll have steak. And desert will be back at the dorm ok?" He asked leaning in and kissing Akihiko on the cheek.

He blushed when he kissed him on the cheek, but had a big smile on his face. "Okay. Sounds good to me." he said happily.

Jani pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant and turned off the car. He got out and ran to the other side, opening the door for his lover. "Ready to eat?" He asked.

He got out of the car and kissed his lover on the cheek. "Yeah. I am hungry." he said with a small smile on his face.

Jani closed the doors and locked the car. He grabs Akihiko's hand and leads him into the restaurant. "A few people in my classes were telling me about this place. They said it had a very romantic atmosphere."

"Oh really. That's cool." he said. Akihiko didn't really had that many friends. Since he mostly did was go to classes and then head back to the dorm room. He was really antisocial. But with his lover by his side, he felt a little better being with others, but still couldn't handle the party crowd. Still he follows him into the restaurant.

"Yeah but I really don't trust a lot of what they say. So now that finals are done we'll be spending a lot more time together." Jani said playfully. He asked for a table for two and followed the waiter to the table. He handed them menus and said that he'd be back in a few minutes.

Jani smiled as he looked around. "Oh they weren't kidding about the romantic atmosphere."

He to looked around the joint and nodded his head to agree. It was a warm fuzzy feeling to it. Making any couple feel romantic in here. Then he turns to him. "So...what would you like to do now that finals are over. What would like to do. I mean...I know that you would like to party. That's fine to. But is there...anything you like to do...with just to the two of us?" he asked in a low quiet voice.

Jani nodded. "Yeah I wanna go to the beach with you at some point. Just go there and spend the day together. Maybe even go to the mall or something." He said. He started looking through the menu and smiled.

"The beach, that sounds like real fun." he said with a smile on his face. It really did sound like an excellent idea. Warm sun, cool ocean, Jani in a swim suit. Just thinking about it was making him stiff under the table. Which he was happy that something was covering it. To have it in public, was so embarrassing to him. "But I been meaning to go to the mall. I want to see if there are any good books." he said. For he was an actually book worm. His major was in literature. He takes the menu and looks through it. He saw ribs on the menu and already knew that's what he was getting.

Jani smiled and placed his hand on top of Akihiko's. "Well we'll go to the mall tomorrow. Besides I need to get some new clothes anyways. Regular everyday clothes and not my partying ones. I might even pick up a book for myself." He said as he stared into his lovers eyes.

He blushes when he touched his hand and looks up at him. With a mid size smile on his face. Still looking a bit shy. "Okay. I need to gets some clothes myself to. Some of my sweaters are getting to old." he said. Looking back into his eyes.

"Well then its settled. Tomorrow we'll go to the mall and have a good time." Jani said. The waiter returned and took their orders. Jani ordered a sirloin steak medium rare and a glass of coke.

He smiled happily at Jani and couldn't wait for tomorrow. When the waiter came over. He order his ribs and a glass of sprite.

The waiter nodded and went to bring their orders to the kitchen.

Jani leaned in and kissed Akihiko on the lips. "I love you a lot." He said as he pushed Akihiko's hair to the side. "So what kinda books are you getting tomorrow?"

He lightly moaned when their lips made contact with one another. His whole face turned tomato red. Heart was beating super fast and it became quite hard down under. Leaning into his touch as he pushed his messy cocoa brown hair out of the way. When asked about what book he was going to get. He smiles, for he like that he tries to get interested with his love with books. "I...love you to." he said in a quiet voice. He truly loved him. With all his heart, but still gets pretty nervous when saying it out loud. It took him a long time to do it the first time. "It's a new book that came out. It's called 'On the run, a journey together'. It's about twins that had just murder their uncle and are now running from the law. That they only have each other in the world and what's it like to be a runaway." he told him. Sounding pretty excited about it.

"Wow. When you get done reading it could I read it? It actually sounds really interesting. So is there any romance in it or is it a mystery/action type?" Jani asked. He wasn't lying to his boyfriend about the book. He actually did want to read it at some point.

"Well from what some people saying on a chat group online. It's more of a bonding book. As the twins deals with the crime they had committed. They learn that they need to relay on each other more then ever to get through this. I mean from what I hear, the characters are minors. But they still left the crime scene. So in a way it's like mystery/action type." he told him with his voice getting a little louder then normal and sounding super excited. "But yeah. When I am done I'll lend it to you. That is if the book store in the mall has it. It's more of an underground book if you get what I mean." he said happily.
