Thug Love (with yaoi23)
Name: Chris Stevens
Age: 18 Height: 5'11" Weight: 165 lbs Appearence: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_1wsavwJDFr...252Btigger.bmp Hobbies: Soccer, basketball, and working Likes: Spicy food, video games, and reading Dislikes: Fighting (unless it is self-defense), dirty places, pushy people Personality: Stubborn, kind, and independent Chris used to live a pretty average life until it was turned upside town a few years ago. His father lost his job, his mother left him for another man, and in his fathers drunken stupor, killed himself by hanging. From there he was in the system as he went from home to home until he was allowed by the courts to live on his own at the age of 17. He works part-time as a buser in a bar called "Zero". He struggles in school since the place he has to go to is called a "gangster" school where the rejects seem to go. At this point he would just be happy to graduate and get as far away as he can from here. |

Name: Dan
Age: 17 Height: 5'10" Weight: 155 lbs Appearence: See above Hobbies: Tarot, reading, information dealing Likes: Video games, giving people tarot readings, and the indoors Dislikes: Fighting, filth, and bullshit Personality: Defensive, superstitious, and introspective. "No rest for the wicked." Daniel sighed to himself as he made his way down the dimly street to the "apartment". Heh. That's what they took to calling it. It was a fucking crackhouse. But home was home. Sure he could go spend time with the gang but he didn't get along too well with them, they thought he was a snob and he thought they were Neanderthals. But in the hood' you end in gang because you need protection. Either you got talent or you know someone, in Daniel's case he was a good rat. Knew the ins and outs and had dirt on people. And this particular gang decided they wanted him on their side rather than anyone elses. "Wazzz good ese!" he called out to a fellow gang member only to receive a nod. Daniel grew up in old prosperity and lost his parents in a fire, rather than go off to foster care some of the kind hearted thugs took him in and showed him the ropes. Daniel still went to school whenever he felt like it and took the occasional job dealing goods or information. Tonight though, he didn't much feel like going home. He didn't get out much and figured he'd stop at the local bar. |
As Daniel went to Zero, Tim the owner/bartender waved at him and motioned for him to come to the counter. Time was a man in his 40s and tried to help out the kids by giving them a job or a hot meal. Some people around town called him "the streets father" since he was a fatherly figure to most.
"You're lucky its eight yet, kid. Otherwise I would have to kick you out," smirked Tim as he set a glass of water on the counter for him. "How's the home life?" |
Daniel followed suit and walked inside and up to the counter. He was somewhat surprised to find a glass water awaiting him, he'd heard of Tim but never followed through with the rumors.
In an almost childlike manner Daniel checked the watch on the wall behind Tim and returned the smile as he caught on to the jest. "Its been aight na'meen? Just getting by." Daniel was notorious for having a poor sense of time and tonight was no different. As he downed a few sips of the cool water the boy contemplated where he would spend the night. Be it at the "apartment" or the gang "headquarters" he wouldn't be able to sleep. |
Tim finished cleaning the glasses as he chuckled. "Well remember to stay in school and doing some good honest work. It will make your life better that much I can say."
"Mr. Tim, I just finished the dishes and all the food prep is done since Judy's help didn't show," said a boy who popped from around the corner (wearing the outfit above). He had a school bag slung over his shoulder and seeing Daniel he gave a smile and a wave. "Sounds good there, Chris. See you tomorrow night," replied Tim with a smile and pulled out a bottle of water for the teen. "Remember to stay hydrated and-" "Get plenty of sleep. I know, I know...hey guy, I am heading out and you probably should in the next ten minutes. Don't want Tim here to get into trouble with having a minor in his place after hours for us kids," Chris joked and walked by the stranger. |
Daniel took Tim's words to heart and even felt a pang of shame as he downed the rest of the water. Truth was he never wanted to be in a gang and spent a good deal of time to figure out how to leave, but things were never that simple.
The thought lingered in Daniel's mind, he barely managed to return the other kid's wave, his mind very much preoccupied. "Huh?" he mumbled barely audibly as the stranger addressed him, it took him a moment to register the comment before he realized what time it was. "Thanks a lot!" he called out as he followed the other kid out. Aside from the fact that no one wanted to get caught out late, the boy struck him as oddly familiar. |
Once out of the building he taps the others shoulder. "So where do you live? I can take you home since the streets are pretty dangerous," said Chris as he waited for the other boy to respond.
|
"I haven't decided where I live yet.." The boy found himself thinking out loud in response to the question. Quickly regaining his composure the street urchin shook it off and smiled. "Don't sweat it, I'll be aight. I know my way around nameen? Thanks for the offer though." Daniel finished with a smile before starting down the dimly lit sidewalk.
|
"Okay then. See you later," said Chris as he went the opposite direction to his little apartment.
Chris's night was uneventful as he ran into his landlord that asked about his day. The couple were elderly and treated him like their grandson and he did his best to make them proud. They lectured him about not joining any gangs since that will affect his life. Chris assured them that he will be fine and that he won't let something like that interfere with his life. Taking a quick shower and changing into his night clothes, Chris took out his homework that was due tomorrow and didn't go to bed till about ten o'clock where we went into a restless sleep until morning. |
Daniel had spent his walk mauling what Tim had said around in his head. At some point he'd come across a can which he kicked angrily as he walked until he managed to send it down a sidewalk drain. With a loud sigh the boy examined his surroundings, the only reason he risked being out at night was that he was in gang territory. Still, park benches were no substitute for a mattress and he resorted to his usual backup plan of staying at the motel a few blocks from the school, yeah it was a piece of shit but at twenty bucks a night you couldn't say no. He entertained the idea of taking a shower before bed but after seeing the condition of the bathroom...he figured he was better off showering in the licker room at school.
|
The next morning, Chris woke up early as his alarm went off at 6AM. He got up from bed got himself something drink and went to the bathroom. Since it was Friday, that meant today was core training and push-ups. For the next hour that is what he did as he used resistance weights and by 7:30 AM, he was covered in sweat and in a dire need of a quick hot shower.
"Alrighty then...time for school," he said as he picked up his back, double checked that his homework was there, and went to school. |
Daniel had asked the manager to give him a wake up call around 7 A.M, to the manager that meant 7:45 A.M. Considering the fact that it took the boy around ten minutes to will himself out of bed, Daniel found himself leaving the motel at 8:00 A.M sharp, now that may have raised some alarm but the first class of the day was gym, and it was too damn early to be running around after shiny red balls. Besides, while everyone was out in the field that gave him the perfect opportunity to use the showers without having to explain his tardiness or be drafted into participating. Daniel got to school at 8:30, fifteen minutes later than usual since he had to take the scenic route to avoid the field but he still had plenty of time. Sneaking in through the back door, the boy made his way to the guys locker room where he proceeded to undress become hopping into the shower and turning up the water to a zillion degrees like he liked it.
|
First class at 830 wasn't too bad since him and a few others turned in their assignments or math. However Chris could tell that the teacher didn't really care if he would if turned it in. One of his classmates asked to bum the answers off of him and instead he tried to show them how to do the work. After that was done the teacher talked about how they needed to prepare for the future and most of the class either laughed or scoffed.
(If you want to add characters, be my guest. I am not sure what to do with Daniel besides just letting him shower) |
Daniel finished his shower and got dressed as his leisure, keeping a close eye on the clock. Sure enough he managed to slip out of the gym seconds before the bell rang. School was a major drag, he didn't care for the vast majority of the people there and he never did jack shit so he always got chewed out by the teachers, luckily a good number of them just didn't bother anymore. As Daniel made his way to his next class he spotted the kid from the bar, he looked really familiar. Daniel had brushed it off as seeing him once or twice in school but couldn't shake the feeling. Part of him wanted to ask straight up but that would be hella awkward, instead the raven haired decided to shadow the familiar stranger to his next class, maybe catch up with him later in after thinking of a suitable excuse to talk to him.
|
Next class for Chris was ironically enough gym. It was one of his favorite classes since he did sports for most of his life. He ignored a lot of his classmates, but there were one or two that he could call friends in school. He was happy that he didn't work that night, but Saturday he had a full shift, which didn't bother him.
"Yo my man! Ready for me to kick your ass today in P.E?" Said a tall black male as he went and rested his arm on top of Chris's head. "Ha ha real funny, Tyrone. I would like to see you try," Chris smirked as he moved out of the arms way. "Hey now. We all know I'm awesome so don't be jealous," he smiled showing off his pearly whites. |
Daniel followed him down to the gym, much to the raven haired boy's frustration. "Fuck it." He mumbled to himself as he went into the gym, mixing in with a large crowd of kids hanging by the bleachers. Daniel didn't even remember what class he had next but figured that it wouldn't matter in lieu of his "stellar" attendance.
"What're you doing here?" Asked one his classmates with mixed curiosity and suspicion. "I didn't feel like going to math either." Daniel replied matter of fact and was met by an acknowledging nod from the querent. Under the pretense of needing the bathroom Daniel took the ipportunity to change while the locker room was empty. There was also the risk of getting aroused if his eyes wandered about. He energed from the locker room wearing a black tank top, baggy basketball shorts, and a pair if worn converse shoes. |
Gym class started with stretching before they began to run around the track for two miles. The teacher didn't seemed to have anything planned as he brought out basketballs for the kids to shoot hoops.
"Some water man?" "Yeah that would be great," said Chris as he took the water bottle and gulped half of it down. |
Daniel scanned the room carefully, at which point he noticed two things. The boy he was loking for and the awful stretching. Bitimg down on his lower lip Daniel made the tough descicion to go run the track. He hated running, like a lot. Walking up to the boy Daniel broke the ice as smoothly as possible. "Hey, y-you walking the track too?"
|
Chris wiped his mouth when he heard a voice from the side and took a look. "Hey there guy. You go to school here too?"
"Ya know him Chris?" "Not really, but I met his yesterday for a brief moment," replied Chris as he handed his friend the water bottle. "Nah, I'm done with the track right now. Going to shoot some hoops, want to join?" |
"Yeah, small world huh?" He replied with a forced chuckle, suppressing a glare as his friend inquired about their acquaintanceship. "Sure," he responded to the invitation with enthusiasm and some trepidation "not that great at it though." He added with a nervous laugh.
|
"Well come on you fools, let's go. To make it easy on the newbie we can play horse," joked Tyrone as he ran over to the cart to grab a basketball.
"Don't mind him. He don't bite and he is like that to everyone," responded Chris as he stuck out his hand. "Name's Chris, what's yours?" |
