Finding a new friend (private for me and jashinish)
Name: Toby Thronton
Age: 18 Height: 5'7 Weight: 110 lb Occupation: Student Tattoos/Earrings: None Personality: A young man coming to the end of his time in school, Toby is taking his first step out into the adult world. He is hiding many things from his parents, including that he is looking for a very special type of relationship. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toby was sat in his local coffee shop, a half drunk cup of coffee on the table and a well-read book on his lap which he was only just halfway through. He had a pair of glasses perched on his nose as his gaze fixed intently on the pages. |
Name: Katsu (he named himself. Does not have a last name)
Age: 16 Height: 5'5 Weight: 98.7 lbs Occupation: None. Race: Neko. Tattoos/Earrings: None. Personality: Wild and doesn't like to listen to anyone. Usually steals the food to survive. Wears a hood to hide his cat ears. He has no parents and is trying to just find a place to live that has food and water. ------------------------------------------- Katsu strolled down the side walk and kicked a rock that hit a few birds. Causing them to fly away. He seems to zone out a bit and he felt his stomach go hungry. Katsu rubbed his stomach and looked around. His eyes landing on a stranger and easily seduces him into giving him money for some food. Unfortunately for Katsu, it was only enough for a small beverage. |
"I'll pay for that," Toby said, walking over to the counter. "I've had a bit of a windfall so I've got far more money than I actually need, I don't mind lending you some."
Katsu turned around to look at the guy in front of him. He was slightly taller than the other male and that made him feel a bit overwhelmed. Katsu didn't really like looking up at people... "Are you sure about that? I won't pay you back..." He muttered.
"I'm sure," he replied. "I've got more money than I know what to do with right now, you'd have to get a lot of coffees off me before I ran out of money," he said, laughing. "Besides, I know the owner, I tend to get a bit of a discount anyway."
Katsu looked at the guy and eyed him up and down. "..." Humans. If they're willing to offer free food, might as well take advantage of it. "Then I don't want coffee. I want food..." He showed the other guy how much money which comes down to 4 or 5 bucks. "This is all I have."
"Just tell me what you want," he replied. "It's not like they sell endless caviar or rare meat, I can easily afford anything on the menu here."
Katsu grinned at that and nodded. "Good. I want a ham and cheese sandwich and a coke." He smiles. Looking over at the human. "...I do want to pay you back but I don't have the money to..."
"Honestly, it's fine," he said as he ordered himself the same food and drink "I'm sure we canm come to some arrangement as to alternative payments."
"Alternative payment?" Katsu asked, curiously. "Oh really? I don't have anything that you'd possibly want...but thanks I guess?"
"I'm sure we can come to some arrangement," he said, finding them a table. "I really should have introduced myself before, my name's Toby."
"Hn." Katsu sat down and looked at him with curiousty. His cat ears twitched a little as he stared into his eyes with his own blue ones. "I'm Katsu."
"Where are you from?" he asked, taking a sip of his drink. "I can't say I've seen you around before, unless I've just been particularly unobservant anyway."
"Everywhere." Katsu sturgged. "I'm a stray. Find food. Move to another town and search again. Sometimes wonder back to the person that gives me food and continue on. Also hiding from people that should just keep their hands to themself."
"Is that a common problem for you?" he asked, looking the other guy up and down closely with his curiosity sufficiently piqued.
"Problem? I wouldn't really call it a problem." Katsu shrugged and leaned back.
"Wouldn't you now?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "What WOULD you call it?"
"It's my life. I never had a house before." Katsu chuckled and shrugged. I'm not like you humans that needs a constant shelter to live in.
"Interesting," he said, taking another bite of his food. His mobile phone buzzed, but after a quick glimpse of the caller ID he put it back in his pocket.
Katsu quickly finished his food as he looked up at him. "Who was that? Shouldn't you answer the phone if it called you?"
"Nah," he said. "About the only people who call me most days are my parents cos apparentely they need to call me every three hours and a friend who doesn't get the hint I don't like him anymore."
Katsu hummed softly and laughs. "A friend huh." He shrugged as he chuckled. "Parents can't be avoided. But why don't you just punch that friend of yours then?"
"Cos his dad is my boss," Toby replied with a laugh. "Not exactly a full-time job, but I'm the only programmer for several miles around who doesn't charge £200 a go so if he needs to help he gives me a ring."
"Oh." Katsu simply said. Not knowing what else to exactly say before finishing his food. "Thanks for the food." He smirked slightly. "....So...what now? You thought of the payment yet?"
"Not yet," he said, searching through the pocket of his jacket and taking out a card with his address on. "Come round at the weekend, I might have thought of something by then." He stood up. "You should feel lucky, not many people get that version of my business card."
Katsu stared at the card and sighed. Nodding softly. Putting the card into his pockets and grinned. "I'll go if you promise me some more food."
"I'm told I'm the best chef in town so definitely," he said with a laugh. "Just don't say that to the chef here, not sure he'd be very happy with me if he knew."
Katsu smirked and grinned. "Okay." He stood up and waved him goodbye. "See you then..."
"Bye," he said, returning the wave as he walked out. He couldn't help stealing a last glance at Katsu, something told him his life was about to get a whole lot more interesting.
Just the following weekend Katsu remembered to go to the address that was on the car. He knew he didn't want to just walk off without replying him properly. Being the one that doesn't like to owe anyone.
Toby lived in a large house, an expensive Mercedes parked outside a garage, although it did not appear too extravagant. He was sat watching TV in the living room, waiting for the doorbell to ring.
Katsu stared at the house in front of him and blinked. "...Hello?" He asked, knocking on the door and rings the doorbell. Wondering if the house in front of him, the huge house in front of him was actually the right address.
He opened the door, dressed in a fairly plain looking t-shirt and jeans. "Hey, come in," he said. "Don't mind the house, my parents idea not mine."
Katsu felt relieved at the fact that it was the right house. He stepped inside and looked around. Pulling his jacket closer to himself. "Okay."
"Means I can have any job I want without worrying about getting kicked out of my house so not gonna complain too loudly," he said, laughing. "I just occasionally send them money to keep them from asking too many questions."
Ah. Rich kiddos. Looking around the house. Staring at the boy as he sniffles the air. Getting used to being in the house and hummed. "...hm...So you thought of the repayment yet?" He asked. He couldn't really relate since...well... he didn't have any parents or a house.
"Depends on your answer to the next question," he said as he walked around him, checking out his body. "Are you a seme or a uke?"
Katsu gave him a look and blinked. "...Why does it matter at the situation?" He asked, pulling the hood closer to himself to cover his cat ears better. "....Why do you want to know?"
"What, are you scared to answer the question?" he asked, raising en eyebrow. "I could just go back to expecting you to give me money."
".....asshole. I could just not pay you at all." Katsu sighed and crossed his arms. "Fine. I'm uke."
