Why? Because her art is BEAUTIFUL. Seme or Uke, every character & everything on her drawing is just fantastic. The plot is very original and reality based mostly. Especially her manga the Finder Series | 'Finder no Hyouteki' & Crimson Spell. Just...amazing. Right amount of softcore & hardcore. Romance / Slice of life / Action / Hot man sex.
What else can I ask for?

She has LOTS of mangas, and you can actually see her character drawings improve from average to handsome men, though her characters usually look the same - the only barrier that I can identify the characters is when their hair is darker / face mark. Other than that they all look like brothers lol. Good plot especially longer chaptered mangas.
Usually her Oneshot mangas are actually just pointless sex scenes.

Even though I dislike most Shotas, I actually adored her 'Child Epicurean' series.

I love her famous manga 'Love Prism'. Because the artwork is amazing & the plot is very twisted / violent / & angsty. The manga brings out the dark feeling inside you.

Often, her plots are targeted for mature audiences, not just any reader.
She usually draw her sex scenes GRAPHIC and I mean...graapphiiiccc.

Pity that she didn't finish some of her mangas though, because she passed away due to Illness on 31st of October 2009.

Mine is Gravitation dj, plainly because of it's explicitness and how damn hardcore it is. It the best in that aspect i've found. :p

my fav mangaka is Yoshihiro Togashi ^_^
for art AND story! :D
before that it was probably Akira Toriyama, cus i grew up with stuff like Dr. Slump and Dragonball :p
also his style swayed my a lot in the early days, drawing-wise

I love Katou Setsuko, DUO BRAND and Yamane Ayano because their arts is so fantastic.
Beside that, I also like their story and how they make the character especially Katou Setsuko.

Sakira also awesome at her drawing, but Sakira often made "Seme looks" uke.
