He had it coming (Private, between Amethystaura and myself)
Always be careful what you wish for, cause you just might get it.

A small smile tugged at the corner of Gary's lips as he stood smugly by the window, feasting his eyes on the brand new Audi that now stood in his garage. It had been a gift for his 21st birthday, when his family had pooled in resources.
Ah well he thought, slowly pulling his tee right off himself. He couldn't let a gift like that go waste. Better get outside and hose it up and down with a good wash. Displaying his deep appreciation for his family's generosity. And of course a display of firm abs. Now down to his fitted dark grey shorts, Gary casually stepped outside, giving the neighbourhood a cursory glance. The coast seemed clear, so maybe he was unlikely to get any stares at all. Nonetheless, his gaze was drawn back to the beauty parked right in front of him. With a contented shrug, he slung a hose over his shoulder and strolled over to his car. |
It was still pretty early, when Dan got up in a hurry, to go to the market. It was one of his many daily chores, because his parents were away most of the time, on business. So it was his job to look after everything while they were gone.
Plus he had to go to work every Saturday, at a local antique shop. Then there was college and all the running around, during week days. The only free time he had was on Sundays, and he'd spend them at home, watching TV, because there was simply nothing else to do. He had no friends, but then again wasn't a very outgoing young man to begin with. He rushed to make his bead, then went to the bathroom, to wash and dress. He had so many things to do before gong to work, he figure he'd barely have time to take a leak. So many things to do, and so little time. That, unfortunately was the curse of being an only child. |
(I changed my character's name.)
Gary paused for a while, resting his cotton clad hips against the door, running an admiring hand slowly over the gleaming deep silver paint. Almost like a caress. He'd take very, very good care of it. In a moment of indulgence, Gary tweaked the side view mirror up so he could get a good look at himself. Grinning and winking at his own reflection. Shaking his head, he decided to get back to work. He raised the hose high above his head and stretched it out to untangle the coils, unconsciously displaying his deliciously well toned biceps. And then he leaned over, and turned on the tap. |
Dan was just returning from the market, carrying two heavy bags, filled with groceries, when he passed by Gary's house, on his way home. He was so caught up in his train of thoughts, he hadn’t even noticed the drop dead gorgeous piece of man, washing his precious car, not even ten feet away from the sidewalk. And man, was that handsome guy giving a public performance!
Unfortunatey, he had no time to stop and stare. There were still so many things to do, and not enough time. “Gotta hurry, gotta go faster” he said to himself quickening his pace, but after a few steps, he tripped on something and fell, face flat on the ground, along with all the shoppng bags. |
Nothing could distract Gary from his task, not even that silly thud outside his garden gate. He rested on the bumper of his car for a while, testing the force of the hose jet. And then with a satisfactory smirk, he spun about, aiming the jet of water directly onto his prized possession. The grin on his face indicated that he was having as much fun as if he were cruising on a highway in his vehicle.
|
"Well, that's one of the biggest jerks I've ever seen" Dan thought, tending to his badly bruised knee. He got back up on his feet, biting his lips because of the pain. He picked up all of his shopping bags from the ground, grateful for not having anything fragile, such as eggs, or tomatoes inside.
|
Gary waved the hose about, swinging the sparkling jet of water all over the gleaming surface of the car, before dropping the hose onto the grass next to him and surveying the preliminary effect.
Wiping his hand across his forehead, he turned around and trotted into the garden shed to retrieve a small pail and suds. |
Dan only managed to catch a short glimpse of Gary, as he was heading to the garden shed, completely oblivious of his presence. He was really a stud, and if the circumstances were different, perhaps Dan would have taken a short break from his insufferable daily chores, to further study that careless, unattentive man.
At first, he thought the guy was at least thirty, seeing how well developed, tall, and imposing he was, but after a closer look, Dan figured the guy couldn’t be more than to, maybe three years older than him. A regular jock boy, head over heels after his car, it would seem, cause he sure didn’t have the time, nor the desire to pay attention to what was happening around him. |
[Do excuse me, as I'm not entirely well informed about how to wash a car.]
Humming amiably, Gary fetched the supplies and made for his car. The sun shone down with a vengeance, and yet even the sweat trickling down his bare back couldn't discourage him from his task. Gary bent over, soaking an oversized sponge in the soapy water, and straightened up again. Dropping to his knees, he slowly ran it all around the lower side of his car, moving the sponge in a circular motion along a straight path. He made quite a sight. Bare chested, on his hands and knees, his forearms smeared in dirt and sweat as he diligently scrubbed the lower sides of his beloved vehicle. Of course, it was just the beginning. |
