Favorite Holiday and Why.
 

Hi there, I wanted to see what holidays are favored by those on here and why they like that holiday so much.

For me I would have to say Christmas, because you get to be out of school and you get to spend time with your family. Also you get gifts that you hint at your parents getting you ,but you still act surprised.:D

i really enjoy the new years holiday, it's fun to think of new resolutions to commit to and to celebrate the welcoming of a brand new year :)

I really like thanksgiving because I get to eat so much good food. I don't particularly like what thanksgiving represents but the tradition is still nice.

Christmas.. Who doesn't love the excuse to sit on a guys lap ;)

But no, it's very rare that I get to see my brother and sisters all at once, and I almost never get a roast cooked by Dad anymore..

Wow, I'm surprised that no one has said Easter or St. Patrick's Day. Guess no one wants jelly beans or chocolate bunnies.

Anyone here like candy canes?

I know halloween isn't a holiday but it's my favorite time of the year cuz you get to dress up and get free candy. :-)

Some of the outfits are... not what I would call outfits.

I have to go with Christmas. Love the cold weather and love looking at all the Christmas lights. It's interesting to see how creative people are when it comes to decorating their homes.

I like candy canes, but they have to be the blue raspberry kind. Don't care much for the mint ones.
