New Love (Kaido)
 

A new year of school; a new year of being painfully lonely. Akio Maki is 16, popular, smart, laid back and full of energy...however, this doesn't stop him lazing around in the sun every lunch break, sitting under the same tree. The soft wind blew softly in his mid-length and shiny brown hair, his blue tie fluttered like a flag of surrender, making his deeper brown eyes shimmer. He was a good looking boy, a face as cute and handsome as anything and a body a girl would scream about. He was popular, but he didn't know why he was so sad. Love must be overrated, there's no substance in it. He's had a few girlfriends, but the kisses ment nothing, he didn't feel any pleasure from them.

Why?

The school near Osaka was quite big and open, but yet so simple and perfect. Life seemed so easy; there was nothing to it. Catch the bus with friends, sit in easy lessons with friends, come back home to successful parents. Akio was a good musician, he wrote songs on his guitar, posted them on MySpace, got views. Then fame. Why does he have to do these things on his own? He looked round at the other students in his year, full of angst.

Sen Takahashi, age 16. A new student to the school. Due to some troubles back at home. He is not living with his uncle, and going to a new school in a new town. He was a good looking boy, but he was a bit of a air head. He believes in whatever people tell him. He does things for other students like taking over their cleanup duties for the week. He was like a walking door mat for people to walk on and he would always smile to.

To his outer looks, he was kind of cute. His hair was silky smooth and went down to his neck. The color was a fade fallow brown. Another thing to point out were his eyes. They just pop out with spring bud green. He wasn't the tallest student or the shortest. He was about average height, along with weight. Although, wearing the school uniform did look like he was being gulped into it.

Now Sen is now the most popular or smartest students around. Actually he could barely pass any test or exams. He would just pass by one point. He wasn't in any clubs or sports team. Once school was over he mostly walk home. Right the newbie was standing there like a maroon and had a silly puzzled look on his face. He was looking around the school and with a smile on his face. Yet he was also lost, for he was heading for his class, but he went around the school three times. Wondering where to go.

Akio noticed something, there was a new kid.
A new kid! And I wasn't told?
He stared at the new kid, he looked lost. His green eyes could be seen on the other side of the green, he had an innocence about him that Akio couldn't resist. Before he even knew it, he was walking towards him. His blue shoulderbag slung over him, containing his few schoolbooks, his lyrics book and his laptop. As he approached, he noticed that he had rather tanned skin. Like Akio.
Do I have competition?
Akio looked up at the new kid, who was scratching his head like a confused monkey.
Of course I don't...but I better watch out, we have swimming later.

"Hey." said Akio in his rather high but cool voice.

"Are you new here?"

There were to expression on his face. Confused and worried. "Ooooh! Why is it so hard?! Is different from my school." thought in a whiny voice. That's when he heard a voice. Then he looks around. First thinking that he was hearing things. Then he noitce that someone was coming his way. In the backround he heard a couple of school girls talking.

"Omg! It's Akio! He looks really good today! I wish others would look like him."

"I know right. He skin looks s smooth and his hair silky. I wish he would come up to me."

"Right after me, Mai! I saw him first!"

Sen looks around and was wondering who h was talking to. He was looking at him, he was coming his way. So...was he talking to him? His head tilted to the side and pointed at himself. "You talking to me?" he asked. Just making sure so he doesn't look stupid...well anymore stupid.

"Yes, I am. Why so suprised? I just wanna welcome the new guy; that's all. Do you have a name then?"

Akio saw over the new guy's shoulder there was Mai and Sara. His stalkers, fun.

"Ugh, Mai and Sara. C'mon, I'll take you to your next lesson. You can ask questions then."

Akio cooly put his hands in his pockets and beckoned the stranger on.

He nervously chuckled and scratched his right cheek with his index finger. When asked for his name. His cheeks turned a little red. "Oh! Um, my...my name is Sen Takahashi." he said and lowered his upper body. Forming a polite bow. When he raisen up, he was going to ask for his name. but was pushed out of the way by to other students. He fell and landed on his bottom. "Ow!" he quietly mumbled under his breath. The two female students came up to him.

"Good morning, Maki-san. Isn't it a lovely morning?" Mai asked and giggled.

"You look well rested. Mind if you walk me to my class?" Sara asked giving him puppy eyes. Both girls wrapped their arms arouund his. Mai on the right and Sara on the left.

Sen smiled. "Oh, are they you're friends. I don't want to keep you to busy." he said and waved. Deciding to try looking for his class once more.

"Go away girls, leave him to me, I don't think you'd be the the best welcoming party. You can have a piece of us later."

Sara and Mai swagged off in a trance.

"You're kinda cute, Sen is it?" asked Akio
"I bet you got all the girls in your old school." he forced a laugh.
He is kinda sweet, I kinda wanna be friends with him. He's quite open minded. Then I don't have to be so lonely.

"Well, let's go to English." said Akio, and he beckoned him again.

Both girls pouted and glared at Sen. He looked a little spooked by the cold glares. No one knew, but there's a underground fanclub of Akio Maki. They try to anything to keep him to themself. They saw the new comer as a threat. They walked away from them, thinking of a plan to remove Sen from their beloved Akio. Once they were gone, Sen felt a lot better. To him, they were scary.

When Akio made a comment about getting the girls at his old school. He looked down and smiled. "Actually...no. All the girls didn't like me. I mean they were more on a friend side. They come to me and ask if I cou;d take over their duty of cleaning the classroom. Of course I did. Since they were friends. Even if they didn't alk to me. Which is weird. I wonder why?" he thought out loud. It didn't hit him that they were not his friend and they only using him.

When Akio told him it was time to head to class. He looked up and smiled. "Okay." he said happily. Following him by his side. Holding his school bag in his right hand and a piece of paper in the other. "So is english in room 1-C?" he asked. Which was his his first classroom, but he wrote it wrong. It's suppose to be C-1, not 1-C.

"We both have English together, don't worry, Sensei doesn't care if we lounge around for a bit, just as long as we finish our work before the exam."

Akio leaned over to Sen's timetable. It was quite adorable, all of the numbers and letters were the wrong way round, his writing was scrawly and untidy.
They went into the classroom on time. Everyone looked round at Akio and Sen perplexed, what was this loser doing with this popular kid?

"Ahhh, Akio-kun and our fresh face, Sen-kun. We're just doing speaking today, so you won't need to get anything out your bag."
Phew, now we can have a free conversation.

"Oh that's good. It's a good thing that we have the same class together or I would of been wondering around the school." he said and laughed a little. It was quite a cute laugh. But not annoying as the schoolgirls laugh. When they had entered the classroom. He noitce that people were staring. He didn't think that they were wondering why he was with Akio. He already knew that he was popular. So he thought that they were greeting him with a quiet code for saying morning.

Sen took a seat in the back, at the desk that no one was using. He set his bag to the side of the desk. Atleast he got a window seat, which was a good thing. This school was rather interesting. Not like his other school. Where he was picked on by the other male students and the girls just used him. "Akio is so friendly. It's no surprise that he's well liked around. I wonder if that would happen to me?" he thought happily. It kind of look like he was spacing out. there wasa huge smile on his face and he was humming a little tune.
