Playing the Villain (for spankhappyvampire)
It was late at night, and although vampires did not burn and shrivel up in the sunlight, something about night attracted William. Black as well. He didn't quite wear a cape, but he wore a black suit and white shirt, looking devilishly stylish in the pale moonlight that shone against him, catching the paleness of his face and his dark blue eyes. Although he only appeared around 19 years old, William Herrick was much older than that. Born in the early 1900s and a vampire. They did not need blood, but it made them stronger, tasted amazing and gave a vampire imense pleasure to feel the warm fluid in his or her mouth. If they didn't feed, they needed to eat human food and drink human drink. Which was fine, but didn't compare to the joy of blood. Herrick walked down the alleyway, looking for a victim. He wanted someone to feed on. He was getting well known around the city, and unfortunately people were getting careful. |
On the other side of town, there was a bit of a fuss going on. Two gangs had started a bit of a war in the streets, and it had drawn the attention of a "special" citizen. His name was Tanner, he was 19yo a local college student and a bit of a looker in the face. He had one thing about him that was a little different than the rest of the teens in the city. He had a talent for making things appear and dissapear at will. He went by the name of Scarecrow, after his favorite batman character, and used his light creations to scare the bad guys into submission. He wore a hat and and trench coat with a black shirt and pants underneath.
Scarecrow desended on the war and send multiple snakes flying out of his coat and on to the gangsters. He monologued a bit and called up two weapons to defeat them with. |
Herrick knew of the superhero known as Scarecrow.
He didn't fear him, and was intrigued. But did not dwell on him, he may be well known in the city, but he doubted that Scarecrow could follow his tracks. Continuing down along his way, he found a young man, around 22. And decided on him as his prey. He'd get his fill from him then go find another. He was feeling greedy. |
Tanner was on top of the world after stopping the gang war. He was a bit childish, but that gave him a bit of quirk in his heroing style. He was hopping around from roof top to roof top trying to find something else going on. As he was hopping, he saw what looked like a teenager trying to eat a 22 yo.
"Thats a bit odd looking" he said as he slid down to the ground. "Hey, what'sha up to buddy?" he said to William |
William Herrick recognised him immediately, and rather violently slashed at Sarecrow, trying to knock him away.
This luckily gave the 22 year old a chance to run. He wasn't bleeding too badly luckily, and would probably survive. |
"Hey! Thats now way to treat someone you haven't even met yet" said Tanner as he grinned "I might have to punish you if you don't apologize"
Tanner loved to antagonize his opponents, he found it fun. |
"Is that so?" He stood up and straightened his suit jacket, licking his slightly blood stained lips. "Are you that Scarecrow person I've heard so much about then?" The opponent looked rather handsome, even if he was the 'good guy'.

"That would be me" he said as he tipped his hat. The boy infront of him was adorable, he sort of lost his attention wile staring at him before he snapped back into reality.
"So, whats your name?" he asked as he started checking him out from head to toe. |
He ran a hand through his thick, somewhat floppy blond hair, "William Herrick. Or just Herrick." He hoped that name would mean something to him.

"I'm gonna call you Chomppy" said Tanner jokingly making fun of the vampire.
"So, we gonna fight or just stare at eachother all day" asked Tanner impatiently. The mob fight had got him wired up and he was ready to finish this fight up and go find another gang. |
