With time I discovered that the easiest way to swallow a hard pill is with a big dose of humor (and water, maybe).

So lately I'm kinda stuck on Terry Pratchett, especially his book "The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents".

For me, it shows the development of human kind in a very humorous way: a group of rodents gain the ability to speak and create their own culture, religion, their own fears and dreams.

It combines the incredibly powerful perfectionism of young people, it being so powerful, that it actually has the potential to change the world and the heartbreaking realization of how things really are, inevitably chasing down almost everyone with age.

The book has really too much things in it for me to be able to describe all, but just take it from me, it's my favorite book and definitely worth a read.
