Patrick would let him go without telling him in normal circumestances but after what Paul said.. he couldn't. He knew what he should do but hesitated for few moments. Then went after Daniel to his 'soon not to be' room.
"I would rather you wouldn't know about it but since you don't want to have with me anything in common and I wouldn't be able to defend you.. The guy Adam is looking for you.. He wanted to obtain my personal information some time ago, but was taken away by security. I... Please, take care of yourself.. and you can take whatever you think you will need from my home.. and always will find here a shelter.."
That said he just left Daniel alone.
