Brian looked on in awe as instead of talking to him, Charlie chose to write down his words onto paper. It struck Brian as very odd. He was even starting to wonder if Charlie was able to talk. A lot of thoughts were swarming through his head, wondering about this adorable, yet enigmatic child. He watched as the child ate his apple and cheese and bread sandwich. He could tell the kid was very apprehensive about the whole situation. In all honesty, he just wanted to help the kid out. No one should ever have to eat alone. Lunch time was a time to hang out with friends and joke around, as well as obviously to eat lunch. When Charlie passed him the paper, he read it in his head, then answered. "Well, I saw you yesterday eating by yourself. Nobody should eat lunch by themselves." Brian told him.
He pushed the paper back to Charles as he continued to eat his lunch. "My name is Brian by the way. You can call me Brian if you'd like, but when we're around other students, you have to call me Mr. Furlong." Brian told Charles. He took out a large water bottle from his big and drank some water. "I don't see how you could be eating alone. You look like you'd have lots of friends. You seem nice, and you're smart, and you're cute." Brian stopped right in his tracks. Did he just call the teen cute out loud? Oh no. Oh no, oh no, oh no! What was Charles going to do? He hoped that teen didn't say anything to the principal, or else he would get fired!
