Carter glared at the road and pulled to the side of the highway where there was a stop. He unbuckled his seatbelt and William's before pulling the other man into a long, loving kiss. When they pulled back, he looked William right in the eye.
"I love you. That's why." he said simply, buckling them both back in before getting back onto the highway.
