Carter chuckled and kissed William's temple, gently stroking his hand up and down his lover's torso.
"Well, he's very smart, though sometimes he doesn't think so. Also, he's very shy and I worry about his health a lot. Sometimes I wish I could keep him all to myself but I know I can't hide him from the world. No matter how much it hurts him to be out in the open. I love him and I know he loves me. Even if he can't say it yet but... I'll wait forever if I have to." he said, ending in a whisper.
