"Of course not, it fits perfectly Soma, thank you" Soma seemed to know a lot about James' body struture, for obvious reasons, so he would know how tight his armor should be. It was stupid to have it on all the time, but putting it on was sometimes a confidence booster. It's not that he had any trouble with that, it was just a little more confidence put into him when he did. He did not know anything about the old hag and Soma, but sometimes he felt like there was more then just tension from him and the Royals. James wondered if he'd ever stop being tormented by them. He had power over them, but at times, it did not seem like the case. They might be less powerful politically-wise, but the Royals could do damage. James always had to be sure to stay on high alert. He stepped out of the curtain, now fully dressed.

Just before James or the Royals could say anything, someone broke through the guards, holding a sheet of paper in his hand, calling out to James. "My King, my King! A message to you from King Vlad from Scotland! He requests your presence!" Normally, if someone were to break through the guards, James would scold them, but he wasn't able to because the messager was a fast talker. James hired him for that, and for the speed in which he delivered messages. Once, he almost died in a high winter storm just to deliver a letter from one Kingdom to another. James took the paper from the boy, and when he did, he bowed to James and the Royals before heading out. James read the note, then turned to Soma. "Go to the Blacksmith, I'm going to need my sword and shield" The Royals jumped on this one, but the first to talk was the old hag. "I thought you said our men could hold the line King James! You should have..." James had enough, and he spoke to her boldly. "I have full confidence in my men and their strength, and always will! You know nothing about the battlefield!" They all did not say a word, including the old hag. That armor was quite the confidence booster.

"He has asked for a one on one duel, or he would get the British to overrun our land. He is quite honorable, in some aspects, and if it means I can save my Kingdom, then I will fight him... to the death"
