Josh clenched his jaw in frustration. Akira was still so weak, how would he be able to gain enough energy to work for him? Walking towards the man, Josh sighed and pulled him up on his feet, or at least tried to.
“You have twenty-four hours here to have the ability to walk, if not I wont hesitate to kick you out.”
Letting out an agitated breath, Josh heard Akira’s stomach growl, cocking an eyebrow and wondering if he should be fed again. There was more than enough food, not to mention if he wanted the kid to gain strength he’d have to feed him.
“I’ll give you something to eat before bed just….” Josh grumbled a few words under his breath. He carried the man to his house, it wouldn’t be difficult to hold him for less than a minute. But at the same time, he wasn’t one to carry others, in fact he deserved to be carried instead.
“Screw it.” Josh went to Akira and spoke seriously. “Can you walk there? If not I’ll have to carry you.” his tone wasn’t soft, it was almost angry, but the good part of this was that Akira couldn’t tell anyone how he carried him, since he can’t speak. Josh then thought of the other things he’d be able to do without anyone finding out, but tried to shove that in the back of his mind for the time being.
