The doctor noticed Akira’s reaction to his touch, feeling his ribs to make sure nothing was severely damaged. “Fractured right lower rib.” he then said while grabbing a brace for the servant’s torso, disabling him from bending over or completely breaking his bone.
“It’ll heal over time but it’ll take a few weeks. Make sure he wears this brace, at all times other than bathing or showering.”
Josh frowned from the new information. Akira had enough problems now he had a fractured rib. Although all of that momentarily slipped his mind when he saw that his servant looking more awake, more lively but still scared.
“Aki.” Josh held onto the man, slowly laying next to him and touching his hair, trying to sooth him. “I’ll make sure you are never hurt again. I promise you that.” he spoke while trying to reassure him while the doctor bandaged and checked him over.
