Once Josh left Akira’s bedroom, it was like everything was crashing down at him at once. Getting to his room, he quickly changed his clothes, fixing anything that needed to be checked over before heading towards the main hall.
On his way, Josh had to talk to a few people, finding himself growing irritated. Grabbing the key to Akira’s room, making sure to lock it before going to the main hall once again.
A few short minutes pass before Elizabeth walks in. Her pink and fuchsia colored dress suiting her perfectly along with the pink flower barrette keeping her dark hair up. Josh grasped her hand, bowing to her as she curtsied back.
“Welcome Ms. Elizabeth.” Josh spoke while kissing the back of her hand.
The young woman smiled, her eyes seeming to twinkle as she looked at Josh. “Please, call me Elizabeth.”
Two hours passed quickly, Josh had noticed that he might have been busy for a while longer. They decided upon eating dinner together despite Josh’s mind wanting to go against the idea. The third hour caused Josh to get antsy. What if Akira was in trouble again? Josh shook his head, trying to rid the thought out of his mind.
When evening turned to night, Josh had finally mentioned that he’d need to head to bed early as an excuse to get Elizabeth to leave. Thankfully instead of asking to stay the night, she agreed and said her goodbyes to everyone including the few people she had gotten close to in the mansion.
Josh walked her to the entrance and said the last farewell. He waited impatiently as she walked out to her horse ridden carriage before closing the doors and letting out a sigh of relief. That felt way longer than four hours.
