Noticing Akira’s fatigue, Josh thought he should leave, but instantly stopped when he saw the man writing. He understood what he meant, although it was a bit hard to comprehend at first due to the mistakes.
Sitting down at the edge of the bed, Josh rubbed his own shoulder and shrugged softly. “It wasn’t that bad. Could have been worse, although I still didn’t enjoy it.” Looking at the ground, Josh leaned his elbows against his knees and rubbed his forehead, the headache he got from listening to his fiancée speak for hours straight was thankfully fading.
“She kept mentioning our marriage, which of course just brought my anxiety way up. I can’t calm down when I’m around her.” Shaking his head, Josh looked over at Akira with his head in his hands. “I’m glad you’re okay though…” he mumbled.
