Once the door was opened, Noble was so tempted to storm inside and drag Ken out, but he held back and forced a smile. Trying to look as ‘casual’ as possible, Noble looked around before glancing back at Adam. “Sorry to bother you. I was just wondering if Ken was here. I need to discuss something important with him that associates with his education.”
Hopefully that was good enough. Noble was antsy, trying his best not to show any of the stress he was feeling.
