Nodding slowly, Sangre looked from Akira’s throat to the gauze along his chin and jaw. “That’s better than before.” He smiled lightly, looking back at the oven and nodding his head yet again. “Yep. The heat will make them rise, it’ll be fluffy and moist, very good.” Sangre smiled and went back to Harumi, his arm wrapping around her waist yet again only to make the woman flush happily.
“How did you like the icecream? I noticed one was missing and I assumed you and Master took it.” Sangre chuckled.

Noticing that the small animal didn’t run away, Josh smiled and placed his hands very carefully under it’s belly. “Okay, I’m going to pick you up.” he whispered, knowing of course a cat can’t understand English but hoped it would sooth him or her when he did.
As gently as he could, Josh tucked his hands under the young cats body, smiling once he held it against his chest, tucking one hand under it’s body while the other rested against the back for support.
“Let me bring you inside.” Josh muttered while making his way straight to the kitchen, walking a little faster than usual, not wanting the young animal to stay in this state for a second longer, hoping to feed it and give it some water due to how starved and dehydrated it seemed to be. For a split second, Josh was reminded of when he met Akira in a similar state.
