Getting everything ready, Josh went over to the stove, taking out a pan and heating it up while taking out four slices of bread and beginning to butter both sides. “You just add butter, so that they don’t burn…” He glanced at Akira and smirked while adding the cheddar cheese. “You can add any cheese but this one is the best for grilled cheese.”
As he put the other slide of bread on top, Josh placed the ‘sandwich’ into the pan and smiled. “Tada, that’s it. You flip it over after a few minutes and let the other side cook, then it’s done.” Josh looked back down at the food momentarily before his attention returned to Akira. “And…thank you for the stone.” Josh reached into his pocket and took out the smooth stone to show it to Akira. “It helped a lot…when I was outside, I was upset, angry but when I held this…it kind of eased me. And then I found her.” Josh muttered with another soft smile while glancing at the cat. “Your good luck worked.”
