Kaden put his black jacket on, fixing the collar of it and looking at Deiru when he heard that nickname of his. It was as though he was getting used to it because even after hearing him say the word, it seemed Kaden didn’t mind.
It was a surprise to hear Deiru say that about Animal though, Kaden looked at him dumbfounded but smirked lightly, especially what he said last. “Trust me, I’ll make sure to be extra nice to him if he’s the one that saved me…” Kaden looked at Dieru as he went to the bathroom knowing he was a part of it too, even if he denied it. Allowing Animal to take over only showed that he cared, even if it was just faintly, it still showed Kaden that Deiru didn’t want him to die. That thought alone made the demon feel just a bit more appreciated.
