Adrian watched from the crowd as Wallis' name was called to receive his diploma and he applauded the loudest before giving an excited wolf whistle. He had already graduated before Wallis, and he promised Wallis would know that he was there. Even after he graduated, Adrian made sure to keep in touch and they now shared an apartment together with Adrian supporting them on a auto repair shop salary as a mechanic. Still, he never said the L word...he was waiting for Wallis' graduation ceremony.
