Quin watched as Jonas typed the number into his phone and passed it back. Putting it back into his pocket, Quin refocused back on Casey when he heard him talk, looking at his friend and seeing right away on his face that he wasn’t happy. Even more so with the words he spoke, how real he was being, how truthful he was although that barely surprised Quin at all.
Listening to every single word that was spoken, Quin let go of Casey when he finally got up and went to the window, his eyes following and instead of looking at Jonas, all of his attention was focused on his best friend. “Shit.” he whispered, glancing at Jonas and clenching his jaw.
Casy had such a strong personality, in fact, meeting him for the first time, Quin remembered just how much he was drawn to the straightforward and strong personality of the man. Standing up and giving Jonas one last look to see what he’d do, Quin was about to make his way towards Casey but paused when Jonas beat him to it.
Slowly sitting down, Quin looked over at his friend and felt his body fidget to go to him. He wanted to go over but he also wanted to give them both time to talk since Casey might need the time. With a deep breath, Quin only watched as Jonas spoke, looking at him now but not with lust, instead he was looking at him to make sure he didn’t set Casey off again. No one messed with Shino and got away with it, Quin made sure of that the moment the two became friends, so if Jonas really pissed Casey off, he’d be at his side in a heartbeat.
