Quin quirked yet another smile at that memory, shaking his head almost in a way to rid it from his mind while he sighed and looked back at the picture that was taken. It kind of looked like the man Casey was talking about, although Quin wasn’t too sure.
“Wonder why he’s sending this to us anyway…” The readhead muttered, curious as well as a little suspicious. Jonas seemed rather different earlier compared to the text, putting ASAP and even adding the word ‘please’ to the sentence.
“I think it could be him, but it’s too hard to tell.” Quin said while putting his phone back in his pocket. He didn’t think it was much of a concern despite his growing gut sensing something wasn’t really right. After sitting down and enduring most of the class, Quin had his head resting against his desk, sitting beside Casey as always and his phone beside his head.
When the vibrations of his cell went off, Quin picked it up, reading who it was from and furrowing his eyebrows while reading the text. “It’s him again…” Seeing that Jonas seemed serious, even more so then before, Quin sat up and looked at the new teacher.
“Gotta use the bathroom.” he mumbled while gently tugging Casey’s shirt and whispering. “Come, meet me in the parking lot. Something’s wrong…” Quin glanced around the room before heading back out towards the hallway. He made his way out towards the exit, leading to the parking lot. Whatever was wrong, for some reason Quin didn’t mind going to see what it was. If Jonas was in trouble, why wouldn’t he go to see what it was? Besides, with the recent attacks going on, he couldn’t just ignore the possibility of someone being hurt. At the same time, Quin would make sure Casey wasn’t injured in the process, everyone knows how damn protective the man is over his friend.
Stepping into the rather empty parking lot, Quin pushed his hands into his pockets and leaned against his car. He kept his eyes open, looking around and then glancing back at the school to keep a look out for Shino, hoping he’d show up too, even if it meant they’d be out here for Jonas.
