Listening to what Casey said, yet again Quin wasn’t surprised to hear such a reply from his friend. He really is outspoken, and if the redhead wasn’t in such a stunned state of mind, he’d most likely be saying the same things.
Glancing at Jonas, Quin made sure to listen to what he said about the drinking. So he didn’t just go around taking blood from anyone? Of course, that was good news, although the fact that the man in front of them was a vampire who drinks blood in the first place is strange enough by itself.

Although what Jonas said next really made Quin uneasy. He was the one killing those people? It was hard to digest, especially because he couldn’t understand how taking numerous lives could compensate for protecting his race. Quin breathed deeply, rubbing his forehead and trying to register everything at once.
It wasn’t until Jonas mentioned his name that Quin really made sure to listen. It was difficult to really say how he felt about it all, how long the man should stay after saying all of that. Quin couldn’t imagine kicking him out, but at the same time….he just admitted to killing people, and being a vampire, it wasn’t like he had many guests with that sort of record.
Looking over at Casey, Quin began to speak with slight hesitance. “I…” The redhead took a even breath in, before letting it out and speaking more clearly. “You said you can keep us safe. We can’t overpower you, so there isn’t a point in being hostile towards you. So…I’ll let you stay until you feel it’s necessary to leave. I know it’s hard to understand why I’m allowing it Casey, but I’d much rather be in a house with Jonas than be here alone just in time for someone to break the door down and interrogate me.” Quin answered, still a little ambivalent with his own choice. “Stay as long as you have to, but leave whenever you can.” Quin said finally while looking at Jonas, his expression full of uncertainty.
