Despite taking a few steps away from Ashley, Destro stayed close enough to see him. A smile then appeared on his face when he approached one of his close friends, another rather old vampire who had been working with him since he began his business.
“Vergo, you like what you see?” Destro chuckled as he glanced back at Ashley.
The other vampire nodded, his deep red eyes starred at the young vampire while speaking. “You’re lucky he’s yours, I’d have taken him.” Looking back at Destro, Vergo took a moment before speaking rather quietly. “Before I forget to mention…Rayne visited a few hours ago.”
Destro stopped smiling and looked rather upset. “What did he want?” he wondered.
Vergo sighed and put his hands into his pockets, both keeping an eye on Ashley ever once in a while as they spoke. “Wanted to tell you there’s another bounty on your head. He’s….concerned I believe.”
“Concerned for me?” Destro laughed and shook his head. “Fucking idiot, he has to learn to stop worrying about me. Make sure you let me talk to him next time, no matter what.”
Vergo was about to protest but nodded. “Yes Destro.”

“Now, let me return to my new plaything.” Destro smiled, walking towards Ashley and putting his hand out towards the room. “There’s a few humans. If you’re hungry go ahead and drink. If you kill your first I won’t blame you, everyone kills their first meal.” Destro said as he looked around at the nude females and men in the room with only jewelry covering their bodies, most already looking rather woozy from blood loss.
