Beray nodded when Ashley said he ate. “You’re welcome.” he whispered before resuming his own eating as he looked at the man and frowned a little from his words. “Yes…same for us. I don’t want to be soulless. I’m not planning to. We have to keep our emotions strong no matter what…” Beray then bit his lip when he heard how he broke down, sighing softly as if he knew exactly how it felt.
“It’s good…to show some sort of emotion, so that you know you still have some human left inside of you.” Beray smiled a little again before sniffling. “Whenever you’re scared, try to remember a happy time…or if you cant remember, you can think of something nice and warm.” Beray looked at the ground and smiled sadly. “I don’t know what he’ll do with us three yet, but…I’m just glad you’ll be serving us instead of him until it’s decided.” Beray sighed. He couldn’t imagine Destro giving him food, he probably would have gave him enough to feed a newborn child compared to a growing teenager.
