Focusing on the task at hand, Dr.Ezra began to speak, his eyes on the wound while he did so. "The blood bags hooked up? We need to make sure 2cc's are delivered every five minutes so that he isn't drained."
Kestran nodded her head, doing just that and hooking it up. As she brought the IV needle to Ashley's inner forearm, the female doctor looked for the vein and spoke to the vampire as she was about to poke the needle into his skin. "You'll feel better once the blood enters the bloodstream." Kestran smiled a bit, pushing in the needle and placing a bit of take in place so it doesn't fall out.

Ezra waited for that to be done before he then began to cut, carefully around where the wound was, circling around the black part of Ashley's tissue in order to cut it away and drain out the poison before it could spread. "Keep breathing...it'll be over soon." The doctor tried to make Ashley feel better, although he knew it was going to hurt no matter what he said. The scalpel cut around the injured area, bringing out nice, fresh red blood, showing Ezra that part was healthy. Going to the centre where it was the worst, the doctor glanced back at Ashely and spoke to him.
"This will create a lot of pain...although once the needle is iinside, it shouldn't be so bad. Hold your breath if it helps, but breath once it's inside. I don't want you to pass out Ashley." Ezra explained as calmly as possible, although it was obvious by the way he was working the situation was rather serious.

While that was going on, Destro stayed back against the wall, watching what was going on and tapping his foot in the process. If it weren't for Ashley possibly dying from this, Destro might be enjoying this....but noticing just how serious the situation was, the vampire was concerned that he might have his first pet die over something that was meant for him. Destro sighed, wanting to have Ashley a little longer, at least for a few more years or decades, and if he died already, it would be rather pathetic.
