While the ketchup's a bit sweet, most people consider fries salty. Dessert tends to primarily be sweet dishes." As he explained, he considered the fries not part of Nakari's reward either. He'd been the one to offer them, and Nakari hadn't said he wanted them as his reward. Kris was a very person... at least, with Nakari he seemed to be. So he wouldn't count anything as Nakari's reward until the other specified it as that.
