Harumi walked to one of the beams, taking away a older orange from the night before and placing the new one there instead. As she put the peel into the compost, Harumi smiled at Akira and looked at the open windows where the birds could come in.
"Very true. And unfortunately it happens sometimes, but usually smaller birds come in here, they prefer seeds, and fruits. Not many insectivores get in thankfully, so it's very rare. Plus the butterflies can leave if they'd like. They are wild after all, and nature takes its course." Harumi explained, showing Akira where to place the orange he had.
"That's a good spot, near the window." The gardener said softly, seeing that a butterfly was already landing on Akira's pant leg before he even put it down.
