Edward watched as Lucas came out of his drunken state and tried explaining what happened. "It's alright, Luke. Don't worry about it." he replied softly as he watched Lucas get off the bed and move closer. He could tell it was him this time. The color in his eyes was normal tint and he could see the Lucas he cared about in them. Just as he was about to usher Lucas into his car, he was surprised when he was once again kissed and given the same confession, only it was real this time. It was still spontaneous and took Lucas by surprise, but he did return the kiss. He wanted to do so much more, but he needed to get Lucas to the cabin before the snow comes. He had all the time in the world. He did however put his arms around Lucas' waist and he rubbed the small of Lucas' back.
"You mean it, Luke? You really mean it?" he asked softly.
