It makes kind of a breathy sound, like when you say happy and hover, but it can sometimes be silent when you say honesty and honor. Same way with g being silent in gnome." he explained, then looked at Naoki. "I also forgot something else with G last time. It sometimes makes the same sound as J, which we'll get to in a second. When you say gene, you're using the j sound, but when you say gift, then you're using g's normal sound."
