"Better than yesterday. How was work for you?" Ian asked with one hand before he stood to go back to the kitchen to make sure that the boiling water didn't flood the noodles and he used a strainer to filter the noodles from the boiling water before setting the pot back on the stove and he put the noodles back into the pot.
