Kai watched as his friends walked into class. A smile spread across his face now that his best friends were here. "So, we're still down for this weekend, right?" Kai asked his friends as they sat down next to him. Ever since Monday, they had been talking about catching up with movies and video games. It wasn't until Leilani suggested that they spend they weekend at his house that the three realized how great of a plan this was. After all, hanging out at Leilani's house was awesome. Even though they all lived on the same block, Leilani's house was the biggest and always had the coolest stuff. Mostly because everyone knew Mr. Morris was very rich from his professor job at the university. Normally, the thought of sleeping over at a friend's house while their parents were home was a bit lame, but Mr. Morris was really cool. Kai would even go so far as to say he thought of him as a father figure.
"I have all my clothes and my games in stuff in my bag, so we could head there right after class." Kai told them as he opened up his bag to show him all of his controllers and games. "My mom even gave me some money to chip in for pizza and stuff." He said as he closed his bag. "Are we walking to your place? Or is your Dad picking us up?" The young teen asked his friends.
